This store has a huge selection of everything at lots of different price points --- but almost every option was much cheaper than the comparable option at Homes/Depot. Like, a full dollar per square foot less in most cases. The laminate I originally picked out and had delivered turned out to have some serious flaws in each box, which my contractor discovered after he started to try installing them. It looked fine to me, but apparently there was a defect that would've affected how they could be installed. Anyway, I drove back to F&D worried about how they'd handle this (since almost all the boxes were open already), but they promptly processed my return and helped me pick out a new laminate. (Thankfully no problems with the new type.)

Now, I am one to bring a sweater with me even in the summer bc stores are so chilly and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this store felt like the surface of the sun. I was melting. Made for an uncomfortable visit. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that this was due to the Reno. The toy section is split into numerous locations which was confusing. Right when we thought we found it, it was only a single sided aisle and was like- this is not it. Then we'd find it again. Nope, only a small row. Again, probably due to the Reno. Items we needed weren't on the shelf but after going to customer service, they had 11 in stock and needed to send someone in the back to get us them. So that was good. An alright value. $10 wired headphones not terrible. $5 for the adapter to be able to plug it into an iPad. Hope they last. Workers were friendly and helpful.

In turn my kid and one of his friends call this the surprise store as it makes a good place to go if your kid worked hard or improved on a skill they were working hard on and deserve something for that hard work. Or for those times that you had to bribe a kid to behave and you'd buy them a toy ... you'll be able to get something here for $5. As well usually something with a recognizable brand like Marvel, pokemon, Ryans World, Disney, etc. Some things you can find cheaper elsewhere ... like some of the stationary items such as pencils or crayons can be found for much better prices at Walmart or Target ... but in turn you pay a little more for not having to walk into the big box store in those cases. There usually isn't that much in the way of assistance when shopping, but staff has always been generally friendly and helpful at the checkout area at this location.

I frequent the Glade Parks location and they seem to have a larger space, with more choices. Also, the level of energy is different as well, I felt like I repeated, "no, I'm just looking", several times. Here, I felt like I was being hounded. I think this would be a good place when it comes to major sales, the traffic isn't as high which could be a plus.

I really like torrid! I don't know if they are run by the same parent company any longer but now there are ones in both of the malls near me! They sell clothing items and accessories for women size 12+ or large up which honestly pants size a good number of the population is at least a size 8+. All of the clothes are really nice and well made. I've only had one issue with any of my clothes I've gotten here and it was my own doing catching the decorative string on something. The one complaint I could say is the last time I was here even the clearance was on the high end for me. Clearance was usually 10+ ... Regular price most clothing items are easy 20/25$+ and that's something like a tank top ... Pants running 35+ Though that could be timing for clearance. last time I came to use haut cash I found a ton of tops in the $10 range in clearance; which sadly I couldn't use the haut cash on so I had to just grab a full price pair of pants and leave quick as most of my time was spent shopping in clearance & hadn't been told I couldn't use the haut cash on clearance like I could at other stores that offer a similar reward. Though the birthday rewards on their membership cards can be used in clearance.
