He is very knowledgeable about what type of window treatments and options would work best for a particular window or room. He wrote our estimate with options (including pricing) for higher and lower end treatments and bells and whistles, including his personal recommendations as to which bells and whistles were worth it and which were not. He was meticulous with the installation. The best part, however, was two months after installation, I had an issue with a bracket on one of the windows. I texted him at 8 p.m. and asked if he could fix it. His response? "I'll be there in 20 minutes." Sure enough, twenty minutes later, he was there with a drill and a step ladder and had the issue fixed in five minutes. Cannot say enough about what a pleasant experience this was for us.

I could not be happier. I've ended up bringing my grandmother's needlepoint pillow that had missing stitches, two family quilts *loved* to death by generations, and an antique beaded purse that I found at a yard sale and needed a lot of help. I plan on giving the purse to my daughter to hopefully start a new family tradition. All were cleaned (they have a woman who cleans fragile antique textiles specially) and then beautifully repaired and restored. I shopped around at other rug cleaners and they're all in the same general price bracket. Russell's offered a 20% discount if I brought the rugs in instead of having them pick up. I also found there's no one else who can repair this variety of heirlooms, and with such old fashioned attention to detail. Highly recommend.

I was greeted very politely by a sweet young girl when I entered the store. However, another more mature lady came by me while I was shopping and just seemed like she was eyeing me up and down and suggesting I didn't belong there. (I was in my work clothes.) She also checked me out when I was done shopping and gave me that same impression. If I hadn't been here before, I would've just walked out.
