He has absolutely ZERO customer service skills. The two ladies who work there are such sweethearts, but that man? No way. Today there was a box of sharpies I was interested in. The package was NOT sealed. Easily can just pop it open and see if the tip of the sharpie was the right size. He walked past when I had it in my hand and I asked kindly if I can just see the size of the tip. "No, we don't do that here" he said. The package was not sealed. I could easily just flip it open and see, but NO, he said I can't. Even after I showed him how the package can easily open. "No, that's not allowed." Well, I put the package back. You lost a simple sale, and my respect in you. To the ladies at the counter? Good job, keep up the good work. To the man? Learn some customer service skills.

Some worked out well while others did not have near the quantity as show on the box. Best way to deal with this is to ask them to open the box so you can verify both what's in the box and the condition of the item(s). I say this but I have also taken things home assuming the item in the box is what it should be and they were not. My fault, not theirs and I returned said items without issue as I was able to provide my purchase receipt. Again, it's a liquidator people, not a high end retail store. It is what it is!

Then, in the downstairs fitting area, there was a group of 10 (grandparents, parents, etc.) there to watch two little girls try on a flower girl dress. But once they were done, they did not move and no one asked them too. There is nothing more uncomfortable than trying on dresses in front of strange men STARING at you. Not to mention, we couldn't even get close to the mirror. So we finally get to the bridal appointment nearly 40 minutes later than was scheduled because the previous bride tried on too many dresses. Um, hello, that's when you tell her to come back, because then our appointment was cut short! Instead of jumping right in, she ran outside to smoke a cigarette, and reeked of them throughout the appointment. Once the dress try on started, it was fine, but we just couldn't get over the initial issues and decided that if there was a dress there that was "the" dress, we would not be buying through Gerri's. If our experience there, and overhearing of others is any indication, it would not be a smooth process.

We thought that buying furniture "long distance" would be difficult and cumbersome. But Ronne made it so easy. We sent pictures of the house along with dimensions and spoke about what we were looking for in terms of specific pieces and our taste. We wanted "country comfortable" combined with a bit of modern and some fun funky pieces, as well. Ronne sent me pictures of her suggestions - which were wonderful. We were thrilled with the outcome - our house is filled with gorgeous furniture and the different "genres" all blend beautifully - from the huge, "squishy" chair in the family room to the industrial electric fireplace made of metal, concrete, and wood in the dining room - it's a showpiece. We ordered 3 bedroom sets as well and a kitchen set - every single piece is just perfect. Ronne picked out some funky end tables and cocktail tables for us and we are so happy with her choices. And, very affordable - such a great value for the quality. Delivery was also made easy, despite the distance - and the 2 guys who came to deliver were professional, friendly, and very helpful - we weren't sure where to put some pieces and they gave us some helpful suggestions and even moved some (very heavy) pieces several times so that we could see what they looked like in different areas - they even helped us set up the cable and internet (You can't ask for more than that).
