It wasn't until I called to check on the delivery that I found they had not delivered said flowers and everyone there who could drive was on break. It was over two hrs before it was all over. If it were pizza I'd expect it discounted. But if you want to throw your money at a service that basically did do it's job and clearly do not know how to put bouquets together. This was not a hundred dollar experience.

You can buy decent oranges, apples, bananas, tomatoes, cucumbers and cilantro cheap. Sometimes discounts for berries are pretty good. Whole Rye bread is wonderful and ALDI's is the only place where I can buy it. Eggs are cheap too. I believe, they are able to charge less since there are not so many workers at the store. You are pretty much able to find what you need but if you want to ask a question, it's rather tough since there are usually two or three cashiers at the store who are typically busy. The person who finally walked over was rude and disrespectful. She apparently was the front-end manager. She told me with an aggressive attitude where WE put the coupons. I regret that I did not walk out the door. As I left the store she was telling Zachary, an employee, about me. I looked up the steps to the office and there is a sign that says the way the customer is treated reflects your personality. My husband was a friend of David Vredenburg's, founder of Hy-Vee. I have never received such treatment coming to Hy-Vee these past years up until these past few…read moremonths. These are just SOME incidents with disrespectful workers I've had. I went to pick up my grandson's graduation cake at the bakery a while back and the little girl that was working there was giving me attitude and not doing her job correctly. (Haven't seen her for a couple weeks now, hopefully she got fired, Hy-Vee should not have these workers representing them). The bakery is also not the only place I've had bad experiences with RUDE workers, I've also had a bad experience with another little girl at Wahlburgers (hostess) she was giving me attitude and being just overly rude and so unprofessional! The most recent experience was when I went through the checking line, the worker was named Arelia H. and she mumbled under her breath "fuck off" so UNPROFESSIONAL!
