Most often I'm there to purchase but sometimes I bring items to sell. The staff is friendly and helpful when I'm purchasing but I don't believe they are fair when it comes to selling items. Most of the time when I come to sell, they never seem to take my items. They'll say they can't take something due to the style being outdated or some other reason. This has happened on more than one occasion but the styles I bring are always similar to the styles I purchase and that are being sold in the store. I was turned away with a pair of Steve Madden pumps today because they said there was a nick on the heel. I was surprised again because I've seen shoes in similar condition sold there. One time I purchased some sandals for $12 and when I wore them the first time the shoe completely ripped apart from the sole! I was more than upset because the items are supposed to be gently used not completely torn to pieces, but they wouldn't accept my item because of a small nick. The shoes were completely fine other than that. I'm becoming tired of the fact that I can't seem to participate in selling items at this store but I never have a problem making a purchase. I think it should be beneficial to customers as a buyer and a seller. If you only plan to purchase it's great but if you're wanting to sell be careful. They make that part very difficult.

Belts made back in the Stone Age are not hanging on racks these days. We looked at every belt in the store. Just when I was about to give up, I saw a belt that was close. The belt had a big gaudy buckle. The large buckles cowboys wear I believe. Anybody that knows Dave knows his spurs don't jingle jangle and he doesn't ride merrily along! Of course the old buckle on the old belt didn't fit. I would be asking for too much to match up items made decades apart. One of the employees asked the manager about spare buckles in the back storage room. Apparently people come inside the store and steal belts. I was at a loss for words hearing that. The manager went to the back storage room and came back with 2 buckles. Both were similar to the old buckle. Dave picked a buckle and off to the register we went. They have several vendor stalls, but you are free to roam around and pay at the register by the door regardless of which stall you purchase from, plus no annoying sales people! Lots of parking, near downtown in a charming old neighborhood. They have events every few weeks, including farmers markets, so keep an eye on their socials.

No, they offer ladies dresses, tops, bottoms, rompers, jumpsuits, and shoes. They have two brick and mortars, one in Huntsville and one in Madison where you will find "unique items in store that you cannot buy online." They offer everything from t-shirts to denim, embroidered shorts, knit pants, midi and mini dresses, and bodycon dresses. Their prices are reasonable, too! Their online selection looks larger than the in-store selection and shipping is free with a $50.00 purchase. Shoe Fly is a fun place to check out, browse freely and support local!

I used to fit in a majority of their tops but now I don't fit in most of their clothes and when I asked if they had a larger size the sales girl acted almost insulted and told me they don't order anything larger than a large. I wear a large in target and kohl's and other brands like that but I can't seem to fit in the large at Shoe Fly. I had a great and helpful experience at the Madison location but still didn't find anything to fit. I'm not fat I'm just curvy with a little tummy but walking into Shoe Fly makes me feel like a hippo. What was once my favorite store is now the number one place I avoid because of how it makes me feel. I wish they were more helpful towards people who don't have tiny model bodies.

In general there appear to not be much rhyme or reason to the sizing. I couldn't fit a large in one pair of shorts, but tried a medium in another and they were too big. I would recommend trying on anything you plan to buy. The return policy is strict.
