Much of the furniture you'll find there is very high end and often quite unique. But even the high end consigned furniture is offered for MUCH less than you'd pay in a regular, fine furniture store for the quality. Even if you do not find what you're looking for, shopping at Interiors By Consign in Huntsville is always an enjoyable adventure. I love to take friends there who have never been to the store and they generally become repeat customers like me. This happens because of the amazing furniture and artwork sold there and because of the lovely people who work there such as Jesse and Pam. The machine shop and retail store shared a Guntersville space until it became a little awkward when Sak's lingerie, women's dresses, and footwear (2$-3$ each) shared the same space with greasy tools and machines. Eventually, they opened the first retail store in Guntersville and now (and have for a good while) have stores in Huntsville, Decatur, Montgomery, Muscle Shoals, and Auburn. Yeah, there is a lot of stuff in a MM!! Books, yearbooks and bestsellers, sports fan related items (think Blue Jays themed socks), nuts, bolts, uniforms, stationery, school supplies, sports equipment, picture frames, Bubba Gump glasses, barrettes, office desks, grills, nuts, bolts, tools, flashlights, live orchids - you get it. It's a bargain hunter's paradise if you don't have ADHD and can focus on getting only what you are looking for. Interestingly enough, they don't always know what is in some of the boxes they bid on at auction and once ended up with F-16 fighter jet parts that required Pentagon permission to sell. (They sold nearly all the parts, too!) Like their website says, after visiting the Guntersville and Huntsville stores, I did find myself saying, as many MM shoppers do, "I'll bet that would come in handy, if I just knew what it was for." :)

Beware of Double Charges at This Store I made a purchase on…read moreApril 25th, and the register was not working correctly. The cashier asked me to move to another register. Before doing so, I specifically asked if my card would be charged twice, and I was assured it would not. Unfortunately, I later discovered that I was charged twice for the same items. When I brought this to the store's attention, they refused to issue a refund and even went as far as to justify the duplicate charge to my credit card company. Only one of the transactions has a signature, and the second charge appears under a different system ("SQ Southeastern Salvage"), which raises additional concerns. I spoke with someone who identified themselves as the store manager, but they insisted both charges were valid. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I strongly encourage others to carefully monitor their receipts and credit card statements when shopping here.

My wife really wanted to check out this boutique and was really impressed with what they had to offer. They had discounts outside the front door to lure you inside. Once inside they had sales that could be found through out the store with a clearance area in the back. They had a nice selection of all types of clothes (in the process of clearing out winter and moving into spring apparel). They also had a few shoes, purses and a little bit of jewelry if you're interested. Staff was friendly and the fitting rooms were open!!! Store was clean and prices were good. I'm pretty sure that if we're in Huntsville again she'll want to make a stop by here.

I've been standing in line for 15 minutes waiting for one of the two rooms at the Huntsville, Alabama store. There is plenty of room to add more. And goodness knows you have the money since you often price items for more then the original price. You might want to revisit your senior discount. 10% pales in comparison to the 25% offered by a competitor. Make these changes and shopping will be a much more pleasant experience.

Last week I fell down the rabbit hole on their website and ordered 5-6 items on a whim. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. I buy plenty of secondhand clothing, so I figured I'd get a few decent pieces and call it a win. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and every single item looked far better than expected! Most of my purchases were listed as being in "good" condition, but I would personally call them all "like new" or even "new." Everything arrived spotlessly clean, professionally processed, and completely odor-free something every secondhand shopper knows is worth celebrating. They carry a surprising number of luxury brands, and many items still have original tags attached. It felt a little like opening a treasure chest and realizing the treasure is actually there. Needless to say, I'll be back. My one tip: keep an eye out for coupons. Finding a bargain on top of an already good deal is half the fun!

Yesterday I went to this Walmart Neighborhood Market and was pleasantly surprised. The interior has…read morebeen remodeled and there are more name brand items in the shelf! This is great news! The produce was fresh and plentiful. The bakery and deli area was fully stocked. The meat section was full. I was looking for horseradish and the person in the meat department was able to help me find the horseradish. They still sell kimchi and I bought some! It's Jonga brand from Korea. I like this store better than I have in years.

Said groceries may be in a sad state, but if you need food they do indeed sell said food. The staff seem nice. There is a gas station and pharmacy at this location because it's Walmart. The bad: This is a windowless, dimly lit, depressing store. The clientele is generally a bit rude (like I got side eye when I asked if someone would scoot over so I could procure some shredded cheese...after I politely waited for at least 2 minutes for them to move--they were texting). Parking is a hold-your-breath-someone-may-rear-end-you experience. The produce, meats, etc. aren't even up to Walmart's mediocre standards and I'm not sure why. The other: Depending upon your likes/dislikes, self checkout is likely your only choice. I have no idea why people would shop here when there's an Aldi, Publix, Target (with grocery), Fresh Market, and probably something else I haven't found within 5-10 minutes driving distance. Trust me, it's not worth it.
