I asked the bakery person that took my order if there would be someone available to get the cake for me when I come to pick it up. I have been there in the past to pick up an order and no one was present to help me. She said she would not be there but her supervisor would be. When I arrived to pick up my cake no one was there and all the lights were turned off. I went to Customer Service for help but they were unable to figure out who to call and did not appear concerned at all. To make matters worse, I had flowers in my car that was sitting in a 100+ degree parking lot. After about 25-30 minutes waiting, I ASKED if someone could call a supervisor over the loud speaker. Evidently the thought never entered their mind they could do that. Finally an employee came that had a key and retrieved my cupcake bouquet. As a customer, especially with a bakery order that has to be picked up around a certain time frame, whoever is in charge should make certain that someone is there who has a key and able to assist the customer. Or put up a sign saying if no one is available go to Customer Service and have them call a pre-assigned employee with a bakery key who is responsible for opening the bakery to retrieve pick up orders for customers. There should always be someone on duty assigned to open the bakery for pick up orders at all reasonable hours. This is inexcusable and VERY POOR Customer Service.

They make a perfect snack for my kids! They eat them like chips and I feel good that they are healthy too. The shopping cart system is a pretty good idea too. I like how you put the quarter into the shopping cart and then get it back when you return the cart and clip it in. Most people return their carts too so not to many extra shopping carts out by the cars. So my car is less likely to get dinged. They also sell grass fed meat and pasture raised eggs, so that's a plus! I like to shop for healthy food and this is my go to. The cashier today was quick at ringing people up and very nice. I would give this grocery store five stars. An enjoyable experience!

Recently, I was listening to an employee speak very loudly about how unfairly things are and he was going to tell everyone that would listen including HR. He was surrounded by shoppers. The checkout staff while quick, are not very friendly. They just want the transaction completed and for you to leave. On another visit, I used the self serve checkout and standing there was an employee staring at me, with an intent look, as I placed groceries in the bag after scanning them. Did I do something wrong? She didn't offer a smile or any help. Maybe I shouldn't ask it might upset her. I said hello to a staff member in a name tag, dress shirt and a tie. His response......no response.....looked away. This store looks likes it wants to compete with Publix. The prices of groceries are certainly as expensive as Publix. However, this Winn-Dixie falls short of the friendly faces and helpful services that one should expect from Paying Higher prices. I think we will drive by this location and seek out the competition.

Lady starts talking about how a brand had fake sales on Amazon, I make eye contact with the cashier multiple times and raise my items. Then the toddler couple start talking about politics while not paying but walking away from the cashier and coughing all over the merchandise. The cashier needed to control the room. You see someone waiting to check out 3x longer than they were shopping and the couple isn't ready to close the sale? Make the couple talking step aside. They have quite a bit of local produce but things not produced in the region or out of season are shipped in from elsewhere, just like any other grocery. The citrus, peppers, squash, and potatoes selection was especially good (in early Decemeber) and they have local cane syrup (from two different producers!), honey, and jams, jellies, and more. Of course, also fresh eggs and Nettles' sausage, as well. Supposedly when it's watermelon season this is THE place to come for your watermelon!
