This past July 10th I ordered a cupcake bouquet in person from the bakery to be picked up on 7/11 @1p. I asked the bakery person that took my order if there would be someone available to get the cake for me when I come to pick it up. I have been there in the past to pick up an order and no one was present to help me. She said she would not be there but her supervisor would be. When I arrived to pick up my cake no one was there and all the lights were turned off. I went to Customer Service for help but they were unable to figure out who to call and did not appear concerned at all. To make matters worse, I had flowers in my car that was sitting in a 100+ degree parking lot. After about 25-30 minutes waiting, I ASKED if someone could call a supervisor over the loud speaker. Evidently the thought never entered their mind they could do that. Finally an employee came that had a key and retrieved my cupcake bouquet. As a customer, especially with a bakery order that has to be picked up around a certain time frame, whoever is in charge should make certain that someone is there who has a key and able to assist the customer. Or put up a sign saying if no one is available go to Customer Service and have them call a pre-assigned employee with a bakery key who is responsible for opening the bakery to retrieve pick up orders for customers. There should always be someone on duty assigned to open the bakery for pick up orders at all reasonable hours. This is inexcusable and VERY POOR Customer Service. read more

Rude employees. Weekly price hikes and filthy bathrooms. Walmart plus sucks because every order is wrong and when you complain they act like you are trying to steal something. Be careful when ordering your groceries online. I placed a $160 pickup order. On item was cornmeal $5, said it woud be delivered. I didn't realize that they were sending it to me through the mail and it cost me an extra $5. A bag if cornmeal ended up costing me $10.01. read more

I just love the Team leader Denise Weatherwax and was very upset about her going to the over night shift . When ever you have a problem you know she is there to help you with all your customer needs. She is wonderful with her staff. No matter what part of the store you are in she is on top of things. We find that she works harder than most other people in the store. She treats everybody with the utmost respect. My only issue with this store is that I am seeing dogs in that store that are NOT SERVICE DOGS when it is clearly stated SERVICE DOGS ONLY! There are dogs in carriages, baby strollers so forth. When questioned the employees have stated that the store manager allows this to happen as a service dog owner my dogs are specifically trained to perform a service for me! I would never bring a pet into a store with groceries or clothing in it. Shame on that store manager I'm not the only one that feels this way as a service dog owner. read more

Went to get my low beam headlights installed, from the get go the lady in the auto care center was a straight a**hole and was rude Asf, but got everything going, I waited in the lobby for 2 hours straight, and they finally tell me that they can't change my lights because, they gotta take apart my fender, like wtf, you only gotta remove to clips and boom your good to install it, these people are the lousiest, zero goal driven individuals I've ever seen or met, not only that, it's 2025 and they're the only people that don't have Apple Pay, that's straight ridiculous bruh, never going to this Walmart again, 0/10 don't recommend getting anything done at this poop hole. read more

My mother got banned from Walmart for a year over an honest mistake. You know how you can scan the same item for however many items you have. Like if you have 3 cans of soup you can scan one soup three times, well that's what she did and she genuinely made an honest mistake and skipped over some items. As she was walking out she got stopped by a lady and she told my mom what she had skipped and didn't pay for my mom told the security lady that she could pay for it over and over again so it's not like she was attempting to steal and my mom has too much going for her to throw it away like that!! In the end my mom got banned from Walmart in lake city for a year, over admitting her mistake, saying she could pay for it, all over 60 dollars!! And people have stolen more money from walmart! i visited Walmart lake City fl on April 3rd to pick up some nicoderm patches for my husband, they are kept under lock and key close to the pharmacy but they are really in cosmetics. i hunted in every isle from lawn and garden, down to where the patches are kept, couldn't find a sole. after about 10 minutes of looking around for someone i finally had pharmacy page someone. after another 10 minutes and nobody showing up i finally left. Today April 6th i went back in to buy the Nicoderm patches for my husband, again couldn't find a sole in the department with the key needed to open the case. i had pharmacy page someone, nobody came so finally i called for a house supervisor. When she finally came i told her this was the worst store i have ever been in. she then informed me that she didn't have a key to get in the case. a few minutes later a young man that doesn't even work in that department opened the case for me. Why in the heck do they have people working there and they are totally worthless when acustomer needs help. if they don't trust people to pay for them then they need to put them in the pharmacy so people can get what they need. I stopped in to do a Walmart2Walmart and encountered Darlene and a truly horrible customer service. Condescending, arrogant, the barking of the word "Sir" with a sneering inflection lingering in her voice. She insisted I fill out a form, it is the law (at least so she claimed) and with that condescending attitude turned the page to the back and said the stuff I did not read, nor did she recommend I do so (in fact, said no one does), I was now locked into. I di not begrudge an employee following policy and/or law, but there is a way to do so without arrogance defining the conversation. Since childhood, we have all encountered these overzealous types who cling to a perceived moral high ground. The best thing to do is as I did. This is the worst pick up service I've used! Never an open parking space because the groceries are not brought out in a timely manner. Usually only have 2 workers and they are slow as molasses! I didn't see anything spectacular but the store was in good condition and people were friendly, as I've found with the people at the convenience store west of I-75 and the people at the Chevrolet-Mazda dealership. I can't say much about the products that is new. Walmart's products generally fail too quickly for my money, though the entertainment section has good deals almost always. It was difficult to get into the store since you can't just cross U.S. 90 to enter at the front of the store. You have to turn at the light, take the street down to the back of the parking lot. It's about what you'd expect for Walmart. There weren't any surprises. read more

Walmart! Service with a Sneer. Um, Service with a Shrug? How about a Snarl. That's the ticket! We shop there because, well, it's Walmart. No one that works at the Lake City, Florida Walmart seems nice or happy to be there. My wife and I went there on the evening of Jan 12, 2021. We approached one of the main entrances at the same time an older couple did. The woman was inching along with a walker. The auto door wouldn't open, but there was no sign indicating it was closed. I stuck my fingers between the doors and opened them. We were immediately accosted by a late 20's head case in a Walmart blazer ordering us to go to the other entrance clear on the other side of the store; that his entrance closed after 8pm. Again no sign. The woman with the walker nicely asked why she had to walk (shuffle) all that way just to get in. This (closed) entrance, btw, is the one nearest the pharmacy. Anyway, we went in anyway, much to Head Case's absolute fury. We lost track of the older couple after that. Later I went back to get a cart, and Head Case was still spoiling for a fight. I got the cart and went about my business. I called the store the next day and spoke with an assistant manager, asking why they would close one of the two main entrances without any signage, and got a "Covid, that's why" Seems Head Case's job was to check temperatures for employees arriving for work. "Why there?" I asked. "There must be another entrance employees could use, and why only after 8pm?" "Fuck you, that's why." (OK, I'm paraphrasing now.) I called the Walmart Bitch Line, and was told that they shouldn't be closing an entrance like that, and that the manager would be calling me. A Month later, and hasn't happened. read more

They have convenient items but this place is a mad house. Do moot go when it's the Sunday church rush or during the holidays. It's hit or miss with employees being helpful or too busy sticking shelves. The problem now is that they have nothing better to do in the daytime so they've got little posses of stuff who follow people around as if they think no one noticed? Twice I've had my picture taken by little employees who think their onna too secret mission to catch a fugitive or shoplifter. I see them on their phones communicating. At self check out and registers you have an employee onna phone app monitoring everything. Then you'll still get stopped at the door to have your items checked sometimes. They really profile people here. I was treated a lot different onna day I didn't care to dress up nice. The prices here got crazy. Produce isn't always fresh either. The deli and hot food workers are not friendly. Trying to return something you have to have a receipt of forget it. You'll also be questioned why you're returning it. Otherwise it's Walmart. They no longer are open 24 hours either. Be very careful in the parking lot. People drive like lunatics. It's lake city. At least they have the security guard back that drives around. All of the workers here seem stressed and over worked in a hurry to stock the shelves. I'd say my biggest complaint is the absurdity of making employees loss prevention now. I think only once I was followed around and that was a day I showed my tattoos.Yet half the employees have blue colored hair. I'd say the shopping experience is more pleasant than win Dixie. Also the prices are lower than anywhere else. I ordered online once and it was pretty quick pick up service. I tipped the guy and he didn't even say thank you. The garden center is now a joke. It's plants dying and clearly do not get watered or maintained. Sporting goods no longer has hand gun ammo either. The fishing licence no longer has an employee doing the application and questions for you. It's on a little computer you do yourself. Aside from that I find deals here from I absolutely hate and dread shopping here. Oh and you know anybody who gets SSI and has a food card. Sometimes Walmart won't accept your card randomly. This Walmart is terrible and so is the corporate office. My wife ordered groceries online. Received an email that her order was ready. Arrive within 10 minutes park someone came out and said they would be with her shortly. 45 minutes later they informed her they could not find her order. No apologies no let's get you some groceries just you're out of luck. We don't care about your time. The wife left a review and asked to be contacted. She was never contacted by anyone. First time in this Walmart and I had a horrible experience, my sons phone needed replacement so we walked into Walmart and asked for a phone that they have advertised iPhone SE for 199.99 We picked up the card and asked for the phone the employee went and grabbed the phone and once she started to ring us up she stated that the phone was no longer on sale. I asked her to call the manager to see if there was anything they could do since it's showing in the system online and app for 199.99. Erin the manager came already with a why are you calling me here attitude and didn't help at all she just looked at the phone the register and told me it's 449.99 and there is nothing she can do. I'm not from around here but I will never stop at this Walmart again. Maybe Walmart should start training their employees to do their jobs instead of giving managerial titles to people who don't have an inch of manager. I go to lake city fl Walmart to cash my disability check money service is closed and the return is not doing money service but they tell me money service will be open in ten minutes I wait for 35 minutes and then they tell me go back to return they're open and then they give me 750 dollars in 20 dollar bills I ask for hundred dollar bills but they don't have anything else I buy two things and then I am stopped by security and then they hold me for 15 minutes because I lost my recipes trying not to lose my money it filled up my billfold with that many bills as they detataned me I asked if while I waited could they get me 100 dollar bills my daughter called looking for me it took me over an hour to do what should have been done in 20 minutes I will never be back. read more

Disappointed in the service center. Every time l went for an oil change over the last week there was a reason l couldn't get my trucks oil changed. The first excuse was there outside machine didn't work to begin the service process, a few days later l was told the work schedule had been messed up and everyone was going home and the next morning l was told because of my 5 inch lift it was unsafe for the bay. They have more excuses than my toddler son. I will never use them again even for shopping l will use another location out of town in the future. read more

I am moving to an area where this location will be my Walmart. I was shocked when I walked in by the dingy, dirty look of the place. I've never been to a Walmart in this poor of a condition. None of the areas were tidy. Most of the employees looked sloppy. I've used Walmart.com a lot since the pandemic and it looks like I'll be using it even more so when my move is final. I don't won't to have to go to this location. It needs some major updating. read more

This is where I stop for travel munchies or basic necessities when traveling along I-75. It is usually very busy but has ample parking. Easy access to and from the interstate plus being close to both I-75 and I-10 make it a good choice for a quick pit stop. read more

This store is the pits! Stinky, dirty, crammed, muggy, hot, rude employees. Attracts a very strange, rough crowd. Tried to buy something and realized it didn't have a bar code on it, the cashier said well I can't ring it up without that and I could maybe find someone to find it but it's gonna take a loooong time. Wow, maybe don't put it on the shelf if you can't sell it? Most checkout lanes are usually closed resulting in an extremely long wait time.
