Am I writing a review for their always fresh produce, consistently impeccable store, and killer cereal selection? Normally, the answer would be yes, but my most recent visit here has me writing a review for their amazing customer service and money order station. I'm currently in the process of moving and along with that comes getting carpets cleaned, walls painted, and photos taken. Surprisingly, a lot of small local businesses still only take cash or money orders; I guess cash will always be king. So, when I needed a money order at 8am when my normal bank branch didn't open until 9am, plus a 40-minute drive, Publix swooped in to save the day. Kelly, who helped me out, was amazing. Admittedly I hadn't written a check or gotten a money order in quite some time and Kelly helped to walked me through it step-by-step. Duh, I know this is a very simple process, but she made me feel at ease and reassured me that this happens all the time. Shout out to Publix! I'm moving back to the West Coast, where as far as I know there isn't a Publix, within a few thousand miles, but maybe someday!

Hannah Vs Ronald. A battle for the ages. The base sandwich was the cranberry turkey. When we got back to table My partner and I spent the better part of 45 minutes carefully critiquing each sandwich. At the end of the 45 minutes we both decided that we were not able to give a proper judging. For we both found the base sandwich in inspiring. I'm Sorry Hannah I was really hoping to come back with a fantastic win. And in my opinion Ronald was never going to win with putting the tomatoes in his entry. However my partner lives tomatoes and felt that Ronald's sandwich would have taken the win despite his generous application of cranberries.. Results.... A Draw. However, Hannah gets an advantage point for remembering the sandwiches code by memory. Do not let the review of the sandwich take away from the personalities behind the deli counter. Ronald and Hannah always provide fantastic service.

It was 9pm and they don't close till 10pm, I was out by 9:38pm. The lady followed me all over the store and complained that I was taking too long. She accused me off shoplifting and searched me, found nothing of course. I gave my wife my bank card and went outside to cool off cause this was a pure load of shit. The lady follows me outside five minutes later asking me what the price is on some of the items I was purchasing. Like, do your job and walk your fat ass to the back and look. Don't chase me down trying to pick a fight. Do yourself a favor and go to Kroger, 2284 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37217 down the street. They have better food, cheaper prices and a much friendlier staff.

Great thing I've noticed for those buying electronics they inspect everything prior to you leaving the store. The pricing of items in the store is set-up based on receival date. For instance if the price tag states 4/20/12 the item will be 10% less on 5/21/2012 and the price keeps going down from there. For me the pricing structure keeps pulling me back to the store as I'm keeping watching until reductions begin...lol. Everyone was pretty friendly although it was VERY busy, and intense. All but the one short gray haired lady at the end who checks your receipt. I'm not sure WHY she looked at me like she did, didn't smile, and was rude, even the way she handed me back my $800.00 receipt. Like... the entire process, besides me not liking crowds, was pretty nice until the old woman, who you'd think would be nice, or smile... was just the ickiest vibe. Do I not look like I could afford $800 ? I don't know what her deal was, but I'm glad I don't have to go back soon. Maybe she'll retire by then (if that is still a thing). The opposite of a Walmart greater.... A Costco grump that eyes you & doesn't smile at all. Worst person for that job. Killed the whole vibe on the way out with her shitty attitude. She's not a people person. Maybe she's more of a paper-work gal? There was a young Spanish guy that walked me to find the one type of yeast you carry, and knew just where it was, and showed me the symbol that meant they wouldn't be restocked. THAT kid was GREAT! So helpful and NICE. A completely NOT miserable person. I hope someone reads these. I don't plan on spending $800 in one trip again, but if I do, I hope I don't see that grumpy lady. I can't get over how absolutely unfriendly and soulless she seemed.

We are still experimenting with their generic brands, but love their English muffins and Raisin Bran. We have also found their spicy mustard really good, and the ketchup has great flavor, although it's thinner than the name brand. Organic produce is available although the selection can be limited, but we change our menu as it's usually much cheaper at Aldi. The only thing we really have to watch and show competitively is meat, although they win out half the time. Canned veggies and fruits are staples and always cheaper unless you see a really good sale elsewhere. This store has really saved us $$ on our grocery budget.

Being a brand new store it's spotless. The staff was helpful and my sushi and salad were acceptable. The guy making the sushi needs to be a little more attentive to what he's doing but it was all fresh. I will definitely be back in a couple days to take more pictures and grab some more food.
