This has been nice during the COVID times where I wanted space between me and the next shopper. There have been very few occasions when I was looking for a specific product or brand that they didn't have. The few times this has occurred, I've been able to find a substitute so my recipe is not impacted negatively. The produce, meats, and seafood have all seemed fresh, well stocked, and ordered neatly. I'd also like to give them a shoutout for how they've adapted to COVID and new regulations. There are always associates cleaning the aisles, racks, and conveyor checkout belts. For much of 2020 and 2021 there was also an attendant at the front of the store offering to wipe your cart down before using it. Over the years, some of the employees have started to recognize me and chit chat while I shop. I appreciate the friendly service.

Well, wouldn't you know, that 'W' grocery that I love so much didn't have the item (dried porcini mushrooms) I was looking for recently, and rather than giving up and ordering from the big 'A' (two day prime shipping? I want it today!), I found it at Giant. And only for slightly more! This is ones of those groceries where you must sign up for a loyalty card to get the sale price, so if that bugs you, stay away. Looking forward to going back and trying the stuffed pretzels. I also noticed they had a sign for unlimited pancakes on certain days.
