The store is enormous; finding items there requires a shopper to have some guidance because trying to find items there was very difficult. Also, I received a Weis Rewards card when I went to the store, but when I tried to sign up for an account on the website, I had two nasty surprises: 1) the website rejected the Weis Rewards card that I received 2) I see the store, located at 4535 Fairway Village Pl, Waldorf, MD 20602, is not listed at all on the website, so signing up for an online account was not possible. That store is walking distance from my home, but if the website won't let me register, what do I do -- anything? I expected to sign up, but the website doesn't allow it. Also, the website doesn't let me see the entire list of customer reviews -- is that on purpose? I think someone needs to do some work on the website because it's hardly a Welcome to Weis Markets as it is now! Weis to the rescue for some delicious fried chicken! I usually order fried chicken from Walmart or Shoppers BUT I wanted to try Weis since it was closer to where I live and they didn't disappoint - well almost... I called and placed and order for 40 pieces of chicken a day in advance I get there and I was given 2 buckets that felt rather light. I looked inside and I spy, 40 wingettes!! I actually kinda screamed- noooooo!! I was expecting folks at my house in an hour and wingettes are not gonna do! Boy did I ever make a mistake!!! I ordered delivery from Weis through @Amazon. I regularly shop other grocery stores via Instacart. This was nothing like Instacart. I ordered 23 items. I had to request refunds for 4 items. This took up my valuable time. I was not notified that the items were not available. One item I rejected because it was ROTTEN (see pic). I do not believe that this was a mistake because the label had been removed where the expiration or preparation date would have been shown (see pic). I kept the pork chops but the package label was from Shoppers. That was strange. Whomever filled my order obviously did not like their job, but they are anonymous, but their horrible customer service reflects on Weis and Amazon. Take heed and steer clear. read more

I really like this Weis Market. The staff is amazing and attentive. Everything I was looking for was in stock and I got a few items on sale. The thing that caught me off guard was how much it all cost and I barely had 3 bags of groceries. Prices are really going up. read more

The store is always clean, the staff is nice, and the prices are right. Weis isn't known for being a fancy store, but for your basic weekly grocery shopping needs, Weis is great. There are never any long lines and the aisles are wide which is especially appreciated during COVID. read more

I promised you, most of the time my reviews are positive. However, this trip back home to the DMV seems to be negative, for lack of better words. This grocery store is probably one of the worst grocery stores I have been. As I stated, this was the first time in Weis market and it will be my last time. Most of the vegetables were out of stock. Their selection was very few and the selections that they did have were not in great condition. The prices are higher and the quality is lower. Not only were the prices higher but some items were clearly marked as reduced price items, but charging full price at the register. For example, the brussels sprouts were listed as $1.99 per pound, but when I got to the register she rang me up for $3.99 a pound. I explained to her that the advertisement said $1.99 per pound so instead of calling a floor person to check, she just looked at me like, I don't believe you and I can't leave my register. So I told her not to hold up the line to remove my items and I'll go back there, check and take a picture for you. When I returned with the picture of the correct price or the markdown price she was unsure how to correct it on her register. I am so glad I left the store and decided to go to the Giant across the street because the prices were so much lower for! For instance, frosting for cake was $1.79 per frosting at Weis when I got to Giant it was two for $3.00. The eggs as you can tell by the picture were scattered all over the place and one box was even upside down. I opened another box and the eggs were broken. The only reason I bought something is because I already hand-picked the brussels sprouts in my bag and so I decided to go ahead and purchase that item. read more

Just visited Weis in Upper Marlboro to buy a stamp but I learned that I had to purchase the entire book. The young lady not only gave me her personal stamps but gave them to me for free! Thank you! She and the other staff were also quite pleasant when I walked in. Good customer service is hard to come these days and they definitely met the mark! read more

Trying to get customer service for a return was an epic fail. I stood at the counter for 15 minutes with no service. I was told by a cashier someone would be with me as soon as possible however; as soon as possible never came. I was told I could not get in line like other customers purchasing items for my return; I had to wait at the customer service desk. When I saw customers come into Weis after me; purchasing their items and leaving before me I knew something was wrong with whoever was managing this store. This was just horrible service and a memorable visit to this store for all the wrong reasons! read more
