Went to this Pumpkin Patch with my daughters and niece (8, 10 and 8). It's $10 per car and no reservations/tickets are required. It's not that big but big enough to allow the kids to explore and be entertained. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded. No big attractions like corn mazes or rides. Just some chickens, lots of pumpkins, and sunflowers. There were lots of props around to take fall family photos. The kids really enjoyed picking their pumpkins and exploring nature. read more

I went to Queen Anne Farm pumpkin patch with some of my classmates on the first day of the season. Because it was not busy, we were able to park at the front (by the little market) and they did not charge us for parking. They have a patch you can go and pick pumpkins in, but if that is really what you want to do this may not be the best place--the only good, pickable pumpkins left were massive and would not be practical to take (and they weren't the kind you would carve). That being said, the choice of already picked pumpkins is great! They have a delightful variety of beautiful pumpkins, which was perfect for me because I wanted a fun pumpkin for my coffee table, and most places just have the kind you carve (they do have normal pumpkins as well). They have the tiny cute pumpkins, pumpkins with lots of colors, some large white pumpkins, and, if you've got the spot, massive pumpkins of different colors. They have lots of lovely gourds at a wide range of size as well. The market also has other produce, I got a spaghetti squash and it was delicious. They have a few "treat" options but the quantities were pretty limited. I do want to say, I am no farming expert, but I think the issue with the patch for picking may be unique to this season (2024). The patch was much wetter than I remember pumpkin patches being, possibly because of the hurricane which I believe caused the pumpkins to die prematurely. Editing to add: I would recommend they add their prices to the website or at least some sort of guide (I understand prices may change depending on the season) I think my pumpkin was 81cts/lb and that the carving pumpkins were 79cts/lb --again this is in 2024 read more

Went here for the pumpkin patch in October. Food options are limited and basic. They have a Apple smash area with NO posted signs of it being cash only so beware if you are waiting in a long line. There's definitely better pumpkin patches in the area. read more

This was a most memorable place to get a Halloween pumpkin. Growing up in a big city, as a kid to me the "pumpkin patch" was always a straw-covered lot that, two months later, became the place where Christmas trees were sold. Queen Anne Farm is an actual functioning farm, which kicks up the authenticity and novelty factor for this city slicker. Their web site touts goats and sheep to pet, but on this day only the sheep were out. However, they did have an adorable, mellow Golden Labrador Retriever roaming the grounds who loved to be pet, too! Ears of corn were on sale for 50 cents to feed the sheep. Amidst the sunflowers on a hill lie a "maze" of clues, which we were too impatient to follow. QAF handily beats most rural roadside stands for its tastefulness and size. We got a beautiful large pumpkin, two smaller ones, two gourds for cooking, and four decorative ones for $30. The employees were friendly to boot. I'm not sure what business if any they do during other seasons, but it was a nice destination for the last Sunday of October. read more

I'm completely blown away by how sweet the lady was that helped our family today!!! The kids had picked an extra large pumpkin for Grandpa that was over our budget so we had to choose another smaller one to fit in the budget. As we were getting ready to head out the lady helping us said she could tell how much we liked the large one & wanted to buy it for us!!! Words can not describe how much that touched my heart!!! Thank you SO much!!! We will definitely be bringing our business here for years to come...with sweet hearts like that I hope they have an extremely blessed & successful business!! Took my toddler here after looking for a Pumpkin Patch that I didn't have to drive too far for. This quaint patch was located not too far from Six Flags in Maryland. It was plenty of parking, we went on a Sunday right after church around 11am. We were greeted by a lady whom we assumed was the owner she told us to get a wagon and go explore. They had a hayride which cost around $4, it didn't really go anywhere just around the little patch, but it still gave the feeling of a true hayride. It was a corn maze, ducks and chickens. Of course it was all of the fun things many pumpkin patches have like apple cider, fresh fruits and vegetables, different jellies, jams and toys. They also had a great selection of pumpkins that were already picked and you also had the option of going into the patch to pick your own. We had a good time. This will definitely be our go to patch for Fall/Halloween. read more

Perfect pumpkin farm for toddlers and babies. This farm was small, but not too overwhelming for my 4, 3, and 1.5 yr old. As we walked towards the patch, we were greeted by I assume the owner. An older woman talked to my children and explained to us how it's a "self-tour." Pumpkins were free to be picked, a sun flower garden, a corn maze, a chicken coup which included chickens and turkeys, and a big pumpkin house for the kiddos. My children were free to run around without a paranoid mother & father always looking out to make sure they don't get lost. Granted, it was like 1pm on a Friday so the traffic was low due to the time; however, I don't think it could get that packed during peak hours. It is so spread out, but yet small enough that you could keep an eye on the kids as they run afar. Upon picking the pumpkins, running around, playing in the Pumpkin House, looking at the chickens/turkey's, and "getting lost" in the corn maze, we headed to the check-out where they had pumpkin carving equipment, pumpkin paint, freshly picked vegetables, an assortment of more pumpkins, spreads, syrups, etc. I was inclined to purchase an already prepared pumpkin roll. I was about to get the pumpkin syrup but I don't eat enough pancakes or waffles to ever eat it. The pumpkin roll was pretty good. However, $10 for that small roll was crazy to me. I expected it to be knock my socks off for $10 of that small size, but it was good, but not what I was hoping for. The pumpkins were $0.69/lb. With the purchase of 5 pumpkins (1 for each family member), pumpkin paint and the pumpkin roll, we easily spent $52. Sheesh. At least there wasn't an entrance fee. Overall a great trip with the family that was close to home. We would come back; however, I'm sure it would only be for a couple of more years until the kids will look for more to do. read more

This seemed to be the closest legit pumpkin patch to DC (about a 35-minute drive). The hayride was kind of silly - it just went around the perimeter of the pumpkin patch, but they had plenty of nice pumpkins and a corn maze. But they didn't have hot apple cider to purchase by the cup (which I think is a standby) and they didn't have apple cider doughnuts!? Gotta have those. All and all an all right 30 minutes or so, but wish they had more of the things I think are standard for pumpkin-picking. read more

I went here for the pumpkin patch experience with my two year old grandson. There was only one main field open and you could only walk the perimeter of it. There were a couple of large wagons with a variety of pumpkins from which to choose. Two straw horses were there for photos and a large papier-mâché style pumpkin was being painted and prepped for the children to see. They would not be able to climb on it however or go inside. It usually takes me about a week to get to a review down but this farm was such a little gem today that I just want to share now! My sister and I took my 2 and 8 year old nephews to this farm because I wanted to make sure the 2 y/o got to experience his first pumpkin patch! This farm is medium sized, its not huge and its definitely not tiny, its perfect. It has a small shop with fresh fruits, veggies, farm made ciders, jams and applesauce! We tried the cherry cider, the regular bottle is $17.00; however, they are a small farm and the there is no entry fee and whats the most lovely is that they are opened daily so they have to make their money somewhere, right? The pumpkins are also very affordable, a customer got a 41lb pumpkin for only $28.00! The kids had a ball running around and taking pictures with the props. This farm also has a great selection of pumpkins if you are looking for home decor. Their pumpkins are vibrant and have lots of personality. They have a coop of friendly roosters and chicken which the kids loved. Spent about an hour or so there, not much more time was needed, it was the perfect end to a 3day weekend with family fun. This is our second year visiting the Queen Anne Farm and we love it. They have helpful staff guiding you to open and easy parking and it is an easy drive from Annapolis. They have cute set ups for plenty of photo ops to take cute Pictures of your kids. There have been a ton of pumpkins to choose from each time we have been as well as some other goodies like decorations, apple cider, and other vegetables. They provide wagons to carry your pumpkins and wagon rides. The BEST part is the staff are always really friendly and welcoming! read more

It was an okay farm. Pumpkins were a poor scraggly bunch left in the patch, but that was probably due to the closeness to Halloween. Hayride was $4 to go around the patch. My 11-month-old didn't really care about any of it, but I did buy a slice of (sad) pumpkin pie to try to give her as a snack. I asked the cashier for a napkin and this older lady stared at me like I had two heads, which left me with a sour feeling. The younger lady scrounged up a paper towel. Really cute and family-oriented farm with pumpkins, chickens, and halloween photo-ops. My mom, sister, and I came a few days before halloween for the experience of picking out a pumpkin from a pumpkin patch. They had a lot of variety regarding pumpkins, including giant pumpkins and pumpkins that could be used for foods, especially considering how late we came in the season. They also had other goodies for sale in their on-site shop including apple cider donuts which we bought along with the pumpkins. The donuts were fairly good, as I've had some tastier ones, but the atmosphere and the staff were amazing! read more

I couldn't agree with Shayla M. more: cozy, quaint and - thankfully - missing that amusement park feeling. The owners are extremely friendly, welcoming, and gracious. The grown-there pumpkins are perfect, as well as the gourds, dried corn, cornstalks, and sunflowers. The tiny market where you weigh your pumpkins and check-out is just right and lacks that "trying-to-get-every-cent-out-of-you" feeling. My girls love riding in the red wagons en route to choose pumpkins. And the farm is appropriately sized for children under 5. This year was our second year there. I might even return next weekend. I loved how the owner admitted that she was working the farm/fall crops in the four days of heavy rain we just experienced. She and another woman took a definite interest in our children. And for our fellow parents looking for a great Fall photo-op, rest assured, you'll snap many lovely pictures at Queen Anne Farms. Go and enjoy! read more

Great family operated farm. The owners have been farming for decades and take pride in what they do. Insanely fresh produce during the summer. I buy all of my okra here, and they have the best tomatoes on this planet--ruby red and delicious! In the fall, they have a pick your own pumpkin patch and fall produce. It is a true pick your own where you take a wagon and go out in the field not just picking a pumpkin from an arranged line of pumpkins on the ground. Again--their pride in growing shines through, and they have the best looking pumpkins around. Fair pricing. Beautiful setting that is perfect for taking pictures with little ones, group of friends or engagement photos. Fall produce consists of every type of baking/cooking pumpkin you never knew existed, collards, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, spaghetti squash...list goes on. A true family farm. Small but fits all of our needs. I prefer working farms instead of the ones turned into amusement park. Just a sense of family instead of commercialism that makes for great memories. have been coming here since I was about 4 years old (I wont tell how old I am now lol but it has been decades. They have a real pumpkin patch and an optional hayride. Thy also have an assortment of farm fresh veggies, a plethora of pumpkins and squash, a variety of ciders, and other local fresh items including baking mixes. the pumpkin roll was tasty...not too sweet and full of flavor. The family that owns the farm is so nice!!! Loads of cooking pumpkin btw including manageable sized blue hubbards!!! Also very well versed in which pumpkins/squash are good for pies, eating, etc. I will be back before the season is over to stock up on some more pumpkin for the holidays. read more
