FEELING ANNOYED WITH SEARS!…read more Three years ago I had bought kitchen appliances from Sears. The Kenmore refrigerator was one that has the freezer on the bottom. There is a waterline hookup but it wasn't done since there is no connection available where it is located. For ice I need to fill the ice cube trays. Almost a year after I started to notice ice forming on the bottom of the inside of the freezer. I called Sears repair and they sent someone out to see what the problem was. After everything was checked the repair man said all was fine. This later happened again and again. Two more times different repair men came out. I was told it had to be water dripping from the ice cube trays when I put them in the freezer since there was no other way water could be appearing. I was being very careful when I put the trays in. Though afterwards I still saw ice buildup. For the last year off and on I have been chipping ice out of the bottom. I know, crazy, huh? I now can see where the water is coming in and then freezing. Last night I got so disgusted I called Sears repair. They told me that my warranty is up. I am well aware of this! The man said the best he could do would be to take 50% off the service call and 10% off of a part, if needed. I argued the fact that this was an ongoing problem when I did have the warranty and that their technicians were unable to properly diagnose what was causing this. He saw from the history of what I was saying but still refuses to do anything further than the discounts he has offered me. Why should I have to pay for the repair to be done NOW any way?! I told him I was going to go another route and hung up the phone. Though I haven't figured what that other route would be yet! Any suggestions?

It's very loud and bustling so many people in there. There's almost traffic to get to the parking lot to get into a space and they were mostly all full so when you go on this one, you won't have to bring your walk issues so I'm comfortable cause there's a lot to cover! Only thing I was a little annoyed by was that even though this store is huuuge, a lot of inventory was sold out or they didn't carry it. that may be good for them, but not good for me. The prices start low and can get pretty steep but worth it. Throughout the store the items sold are made by small businesses from around the globe. It's a relationship the offers the workers/owners a fair price for their goods. This is important for independence and in many cases survival. On each shelf or hanger there is a story. Most items come with information about the artist or business owner. The owner of this store enthusiastically touts information about all of the items. Her zeal, passion and friendliness is another reason to stop by. My purchase was a beautiful blouse made in Thailand and a small change dish made in Kenya. The prices were more than fair and I'm enjoying my purchase. The shopping experience gave me a feel good moment. Would I shop here again? For sure!
