Five stars exclusively for Alexander! He makes mine and my husbands visits amazing! He's beyond…read morehelpful, lovely, kind, funny and caring. He always asks about our baby since I had her 6 months ago and is sure to let us know how to use all of our cards, coupons, etc. Genuinely the best customer service representative I've ever come across, we adore him! We always get giddy when we see him working and say 'Our boy is here!!' Give this angel a raise, I beg of you!

Bought Festival Foods' 'Mom's Meatloaf' for the first time, and followed the baking instructions…read moreexactly. It was beyond AWFU!!! The texture and the taste was like compressed braunschweiger! Reading the ingredient list, we found that the number one ingredient is beef. Not ground beef, just beef. Beef can mean many, many things-it can mean liver or anything else. The texture of Festival's Mom's Meatloaf is so firm and hard, like a block of cheese or something, unlike homeade meatloaf that sort of has a crumbly texture. The second ingredient was pork - yuck!!! Beef and pork do not go together-ever! We actually figure that they are combining braunschweiger and ground pork to create this culinary misery masterpiece. Both would meet their ingredient listing specifications of 'Beef' and 'Pork'. We don't know how they can market this as delicious or tasting like homemade-if I got served this in a restaurant, I would send it back and I am not a complaining sort of person!

let's be honest, fair reviews of Wal-Mart are going to be rare. there are so many irrational haters…read moreout there, you just know that if for some reason Wal-Mart were to hand them a million dollars, they'd complain that some of the bills were a bit crumpled. also, people make unfair comparisons, like saying that Woodman's has a much better selection. of course they do, Woodman's is a huge dedicated grocery store. Wal-Mart is not, they are a retail store with a grocery section. using that same logic, you must then complain that Woodman's has a terrible selection of sporting goods, clothing, electronics and automotive products. here's the negative, the reason the one star is missing: they quite often have empty spaces on shelves. it's not as bad as some will make it out to be. on my bi-weekly grocery trip, there will probably be 2 or three things that I will not be able to get because they have not restocked the item. it's frustrating, but this problem is not unique to Wal-Mart. one small example: I need a new cat litter scooper, Wal-Mart is sold out. went to target today to get one, their cheapest one is twice the price of Wal-Mart and, yep, also sold out. here's the good: as a retail store, their grocery section is huge. target and menard's have copied them, but there really is no comparison. if you need to have 200 kinds of ice cream and 400 kinds of coffee to choose from, Wal-Mart is not your place. for me, they have everything I need to complete my grocery shopping. prices are also competitive with everyone around. some items at other places are cheaper, some are more expensive. but, if there is a printed sale ad from someplace else, Wal-Mart will match the price. quite often though, I see other store that have sale prices that bring it down to wal-marts regular price. in target today, saw they had 12 packs of pepsi products on sale, 3 for $12. regular price is $5.09 each! wal-marts regular price is $3.99 each. thanks for the big sale, target! also, compare their selection of products to other stores. Wal-Mart has a really decent automotive section, offering many different types of oil, filters, air filters, bulbs, spark plugs, wiper blades etc. I think the automotive section at target consists of a few travel mugs. Wal-Mart also has a big selection of camping and fishing gear, along with archery equipment, firearm ammunition, and they recently started selling firearms as well. what do you find in the sporting goods aisle at target? a couple of sleeping bags, that's about it. another feature of Wal-Mart that sets them above the competition: the other services they offer. in this particular store there is a Subway restaurant, some place to get your nails done, a vision center, a pharmacy and a tire and lube express, where you can buy tires, get them rotated and repaired, get your oil changed, have car batteries installed and if you change your own oil like I do, you can take your old oil and filters here to be recycled. basically, love them or hate them, no other retail store around offers as many products and services as Wal-Mart.

I have always loved Aldi's, but then my car broke and had to "buy" a delivery subscription. First I…read morewas gifted several forms to use. Most have no desire to do Aldi delivery service other then Instacart. However then I saw largest issue, rip off city!. Shopped at Aldi since I bought my home in 2014. However idea I am going to pay 30 cents or higher on everything just for some "hidden charge" not actual delivery or service charge but hidden charge on every item I want to buy tells me that even when I get my car running again I may not buy much ever from Aldi ever again. This is not a chain here for the people and communities but instead someone that would inflate prices to just inflate them because of how the person shops. Meaning I pay for the delivery, I pay for the shopper, so what is the "hidden charges" for but not a third party to rob me. Also "receipts" and "adjustments" I found to be form to "rob" yes "rob". Basically something will be charged that doesn't exist but since you don't get the store receipt you can't see what it is, then your mastercard gets hit with a "adjustment" charge. Another purpose I saw was also this form being used to make sure no matter what that you "don't get $2 off your purchase" or any discount period!!! if you used a coupon online to say get $2 off the service free. So adjustment charge is in that case to recoup the "shopped" amount back to what the receipt read and make sure you still pay full price for everything. Can I proof it yes, I have numerous receipts that can be compared with the AI's and they don't match. That said what a rip off. Can't believe Aldi would support this and not join Schnucks and so many others that demand "in-store" prices is all one pays at check out since as said "delivery charges" have nothing to do with the "shopped items" not the service fees which we pay separately at a ratio of 5% of the shopped bill amount which ends up a bit more when prices shopped where charged higher in a AI version then true local stores price which sold those items to us. Also other kicker is our receipt is not to be given to use even thought all laws require the retailor to provide us one. instead it is uploaded to Instacart and adjusted... how... never!!!!! Instead only adjustment you see is more charges to your mastercard even when you had credits coming back for items not available????? and not talking bag charges either. So off I head to Kwik Trip, milk is on sale there for $2.99, may be 14 cents higher but in truth it is way cheaper, don't have to pay $2.49 service fee nor increased markups in hidden charges. Ice Cream turns out to be cheaper at Sam's Club and Schnucks.. so same deal and no hidden charges.

One checkout lane open. Trying to force folks to self check. Bad enough you have to pack your own…read morebags. Not worth the hassle
