Such a great store just recently opened. Store is big and great merchandise mix. Food court has great mix of food. I'd give 5 stars for this supermarket but only 3 now. Because their hamburger/breakfast place do not provide milk for coffee. I asked cashier for milk and she proud of creamer cups but company policy do not provide milk for coffee. I need to buy it in the store. I'm sure Starbucks in the same place do provide milks of many kinds. There's a bar next to it she gave me a few drops of milk for free. read more

Wow, just wow. I travel all over for work and I have never been to a nicer grocery store. This store was nicer than Wegmans, Mariano's, Target, and even Publix! The shelves are stocked and neatly organized, the floors are clean, and the employees are all super helpful and courteous. The prepared food stations make it feel like a luxury cafeteria with all different kinds of options. I was thinking when I walked in "this is going to be expensive", but everything was very well and competitively priced. They even have a fully stocked nutrition section that might as well be a Vitamin Shoppe or GNC...but yet somehow still less expensive. What really set it off for me was that they had four ChargePoint chargers in the parking lot and they were free. I'm from Florida and I never thought I would find a grocery store I like more than Publix, but HyVee, a store I've never heard of, toppled the king. read more

The Starbucks in the hyvee gave me whipped cream without asking in my coffee that I requested oatmilk in. Who does that? Their store prices are above what other stores in town like Woodmans and Schnucks are for most items, but they do have some specialty items you wouldn't find in other stores, however they don't have a huge selection of normal things like produce, or things like that. Not a practical place to do the majority of your shopping, only spot shopping for specific items, imo. read more

Everything you need with excellent service. Costs are competitive, quality is better than cheaper alternatives.

The grocery area is always stocked so nicely; however management is unprofessional and the quality of food in the market area (including Wahlburgers) is lackluster. For the dollar you pay, festival is a by far better option with a trustworthy and friendly deli. I can see this store lacks good leadership all around. I will continue to stop at Festival, Woodman's and Schnucks. read more

I think this is my favorite grocery store in town. It's clean, easy to find what you need. Checkouts also very easy and lines aren't big. Perks card helps to save money. They don't have some items in ready isle we love permanently and it's always hit or miss if they are in stock. But overall I been shopping in hy vee since they opened up and don't go to other stores. read more

Past employee: I seriously enjoyed my job at Hy-Vee. I loved the people I met working there. The customers were friendly and I enjoyed getting to know them and their families. I made everyone I talked to like a family member so it was easy for me. The work it's self was fine but then became overwhelming as I was by myself in my department, which was fine some days but when I was called away to service other departments, (which was okay) then my department was not getting the attention it needed. I was only one person and catching up was getting too hard to do. I have a standard and my department was not up to my standards at all. I was falling behind. I wasn't given extra help but yet I was helping others? I questioned as to why I wasn't able to get that extra help. I had made my decision to leave and I truly hope that the next person they hire for that department keeps it looking perfect. That's what the customers deserve. I'm only giving it two stars because I felt that the management was not giving me the support I needed. read more
