I also like how the gas pumps were pretty good here and there was plenty of spacing between each station. With several options for filling up gas off the highway, the size and setup of this Travel Center makes it one of my preferred options.

I did not think I was in Gary, IN but it sure felt like it at this station. The station was very understaffed, only one at the counter tending to 6 customers. Each trucker has to go through a long winded process before they can go back and refuel. It seemed so inefficient. While I had not needed a restroom break, 30 minutes in, I best just make a stop as well. Wasting 30 minutes at a simple refueling stop is such a waste of time, considering my journey was a 2.5 hour run. Imagine every stop on a 10 hour trip! There might be a better option along the way. Might feel safer too. Glad I did not stop here in the evening I think it'll get sketchier when the sun is down.
