Yep, some people would call it a typical tourist trap but it's actually a lot more than just tacky trinkets. Sure there is plenty of junky stuff and usual touristy things like stuffed toy lobsters., crummy t-shirts with ridiculous things printed on them, cheap plastic mugs, refrigerator magnets and various ornaments but the store is a good place to find useful beach items too. If you take the time to sift through some of the crap you can find sunglasses, beach chairs, sandals, hats, beach toys, umbrellas, suntan lotion and other things that you might need but probably forgot to bring to the beach. It actually is a fun place to poke around because there is so much stuff packed into the rather large store. Nothing really expensive in here, most of it is cheap and expendable but that is usually what you need on the beach. Cheap and tacky and useful and practical. If you need it on the beach you will probably find it in here.

This store is massive, has everything you need for a day at the beach as well as for any other activity you may be doing at Old Orchard. The prices here are decent and the quality is average, but the staff here is a bit intense and being followed through the shop was a bit uncomfortable. The only reason this didn't offend us was because everyone was being tracked while in the shop... talk about paranoid.

She is super friendly and was great to our 9 year old daughter. So much so that my daughter keeps asking when we can see Sheila again. I accidently tipped them 74 dollars on a bill, they caught it and made sure I was refunded. Super honest, great people here! I asked to speak to the pharmacist ( a middle aged woman) to ask for advise on what to buy to help me with my sore throat. After a short wait, instead of taking me to a private part of the counter like our pharmacist does here in Laval, she nodded her head at me as to say ( what do you want). From behind where she was. I said " here?" She clicked her tongue in disgust and moved to another spot. I was feeling quite poorly so I didn't sass her at all. She answered me short tempered that I had a cold and a sore throat that there was no magic pill. I just had to wait it out. She did not advise me on anything to help the coughing or sore throat.
