I am constantly disappointed with out of stock situations regardless of which Hannaford I shop at. The most regular out of stock issues are on the Snack Pal wall in produce department and Dog treat wall. ALWAYS many many empty spots. I would consider disbanding these to your assortments if you can't stock properly. You just set up your customer to leave disappointed time after time. Don't carry if you can't stock it adequately. Then I'll not come in looking for it. read more

i've been a very loyal customer to Hannaford's to go in Falmouth Maine and just move to Kennebunk. My first order at Kennebunk was canceled - the store says it was from the corporate office and they gave me the corporate number and when I called them, they said the store had canceled it. I am now not able to login and when I called customer service, they could not figure it out. I received an email saying their techs were working on it, but could not give me a time frame that it would be fixed. it's really too bad as it was my store of choice until this incident. This is a smaller Hannaford's and the parking is not the greatest because many towns go shopping at the store, but the store is clean. Sometimes I have a hard time finding things because the isles are at an angle, but when I can find a staff member they're able to help me. The produce is great, but there aren't as many brands to choose from at the store due to size. read more

The pharmacy at this store is one of the most inadequate business entities I have ever come across. The employees have zero capacity to satisfy customer needs; should you go for an injection as I did, you will be treated rudely wherein they have zero idea of the value of your time. You will be directed to sit in a dreary corner while they go about their day and pay zero attention to you. God help those that seek to do business with such an establishment. read more

Hannaford Supermarkets used to be good and locally Maine owned (Shop n Save era). But over time this supermarket chain has slowly deteriorated, particularly in customer service, reliability, consistency, and particularly in communication. The decline has been accelerated by international ownership. Meeting the local needs and desires for specific products is gone, along with good customer service since Hannaford was purchased. Products come and go, seemingly at Hannaford's whim. Just about the time I rely on a particular product, it disappears from the shelves with out any explanation from local management. Prices have taken sharp increases and again with no answers from local Hannaford management, who seem to have no say in products or pricing. Apparently every decision comes "down from above." Recently the Kennebunk Hannaford Pharmacy has been even busier than usual, yet upper management decided to cut employee hours. These folks always seem to be working hard, but I guess to a greedy international conglomerate, workers don't matter. I do not like to patronize companies who do not treat employees well. read more

Has a lot going for it. Personable employees, prices near same as other low priced stores, great well marked sales. But being old and disabled it's impossible for me to see the entire labels on the bottom shelves. On a fixed income I need to comparison shop, and the concave signs on the bottom shelves hide the price/unit part. I thought there was a law about this. read more

I got my Flu shot and a shingles shot yesterday. Service was fine and I had to wait a bit, but I expected to have to wait. I have used this store a lot and other than being crowed at time (as expected) service etc has been fine. read more

This supermarket was clean, had a large variety of foods, and the staff was very friendly. You can tell that the professionals here really take pride in their store. I used to live in Phoenix where the grocery stores are very competitive with each other and keep up on their appearance and customer satisfaction. I can tell that this Hannafords does the same. Hello. You need a service counter. Doing away with it after you opened was a mistake. It was located in one of two wasted empty spaces in the front of the store now. This store is busy in tourist season, as well as all year long. Also, your pharmacy is understaffed. The Pharmacists do not have enough help.
