The store is smaller, and so is the selection--but it isn't boring. There are times when that is exactly the shopping experience I'm in the mood for. In and out, but with the chance to discover some things I wasn't looking for and save some money along the way. I've found good deals here on protein chips, dried fruit, pasta, cheese, milk, salad dressings and sometimes meat. The main issue with Grocery Outlet is you probably can't shop your full list here. You'll probably get through most of it, especially if you aren't particular about brands, but there are specifics you just won't find. For example, there are 1 or 2 brands of all-purpose flour, but no bread flour. As long as you know that going in, it's a fine shopping experience. Staff was made to stand at the entrance to welcome the customers super sweet. So for people who have been to NR it's definitely a couple of notches above TJ Max but the model is similar. So there is section for male, female, kids clothing and shoes. They also have a home section along with jewelry, make up, perfume, sunglasses and handbags. Lots for everyone. The store is almost always my go to for wrapping paper, as well as gift bags, boxes and tissue paper. They usually have a lot of cute options. I can deck out a nice gift for under two dollars (and is a super fast pit stop), instead of running into a convenient store like CVS or Walgreens and paying at least double. The store is also my go to spot for helium balloons. It is an inexpensive way to add that extra flavor to a birthday party or a surprise gift, and it is a dollar!
