DON"T get the Kroger credit card, it's a scam!…read more Kroger advertised that with the credit card you would receive $0.55 back per gallon at the pump with 100 fuel points from purchases, good for a year. I received the card (issued through US Bank) and the first fill up I did receive the $1.55 off the first fill up (I had 1000 purchase points) but every subsequent fill up I only got an extra $0.05 off. Contacted the store, they referred me to US Bank. Called US Bank, they said that that wasn't an offer they were aware of. The (rather rude) customer service lady put me on hold for 5 minutes, came back on, said she would have to file a report, I should hear something in a month, and hung up. I didn't even have an opportunity to ask why I had received the discount the first fill up or say anything. Will be cancelling the card, and shopping elsewhere.

The facility has gone through several transformations; but has stayed relatively well-maintained and clean. The quality and freshness of the produce is usually pretty good. The staff vary in responsiveness and attitude; but have generally been friendly and accommodating. We do regret the fish section closing down; having often enjoyed their offerings.(We also miss the Jarlsberg cheese spread.) We've also learned to pay attention as our items ring up, because all too often sales advertised on the aisles, have not shown up on the register. All and all though, this location is a decent enough representative for the franchise; and continues to be our go-to spot for groceries in town.

First bite had everyone spitting it out in their napkins! It has a very peculiar and nasty taste so no one ate it. Returned to the store and was told that there would be no refund since it was bought on Thursday and not prepared til Saturday. Then she added that it was cut on Monday and should have been used sooner. She told me to take it with me since they didn't have a way to get rid of it. I told her it was HER problem and walked out. We believe to shop in our hometown and support small, independent businesses. This was a $15 lesson and a ruined family meal.

This morning I went to get a cup of coffee as I had done every morning and the store is out of sugar, AGAIN! I asked if there were packets available and she said the only sugar she had was on the shelf. I went to ask her if she would open a bag and she ignored me and went back to her cubbyhole. In the past other managers have opened a bag to accommodate the customers. When this store ran out of sugar when she first started working there, she blamed it on her employees. Talking to an ex-employee, this woman didn't fire her, but had a sub-ordinate do the dirty work. If this is how you run your stores, this woman needs to be promoted to the corporate level. I also noted that no matter how long the line is, she won't get off her butt and manage the other register. If I wanted long lines I would go to CVS. I guess I will have to go to your Grissom store if I want good, prompt service.
