One hundred percent of the proceeds of items sold at this shop funds the Helotes Humane Society located right next door. The old house is the thrift shop. A driveway with a sign for drop off will direct you to the back of the house. A large sign is posted on the fence of items they do not accept. All the items sold at the thrift shop are well organized and labeled nicely. There are so many good finds! Lots of antiques and vintage items too. The ladies that work at the shop are very kind, friendly, and helpful. I bought a vintage knit nativity scene that I absolutely love, Christmas lights, coasters, and a tree skirt. They offer military discount on Thursday and senior discount on Friday. I had a blast at this shop and will be back. Besides the Helotes Humane society next door, there's also a small dog park behind it.

The shop is well organized, doesn't smell bad like other thrift shops I've been. The merchandise is organized and clean. They have a very good and clean bathroom and fitting room. They also hold your items at the cashier , so don't have to drag the basket around. Prices were amazing and even bought a fenton glass basket with a huge discount! We for sure will be back to this treasures filled thrift.

Also, please work on resolving the lab issues so people don't have to keep coming back. Besides that, I appreciate the ease of scheduling and access to my medical records.

Their so-called policy of refusing to sell insulin syringes unless you keep an active prescription on file with them is not only unreasonable but dangerous. Insulin is a life-critical medication, and access to syringes should never be made more difficult by a rigid, profit-protecting rule. My syringes are normally provided by the VA, but when I found myself in urgent need, this CVS flat-out refused to help. That is not a pharmacy looking out for the health of its community--that's a pharmacy hiding behind policy. The experience itself was just as bad. I stood at the pharmacy counter for several minutes before anyone acknowledged me, despite the fact that there were no other customers around. No greeting, no "I'll be right with you," nothing. Just silence. That's not customer service--it's indifference. What makes this worse is CVS's own marketing line: "Bringing our heart to every moment of your health." That promise means absolutely nothing at this location. There was no heart, no compassion, and no attempt to actually care for someone in need. When a pharmacy cannot live up to its most basic responsibility--supporting patients with life-sustaining needs--it's a failure of both policy and leadership. Contrast that with Walgreens just down the road: they stepped up immediately, no hesitation, no excuses. Walgreens delivered the service and care that CVS refused to provide. That difference says everything. To CVS corporate: if you truly believe in your tagline, you should start by fixing this store and its policies. To anyone else reading this: save yourself the frustration, drive a few extra minutes, and take your business to Walgreens where you'll actually be treated like your health matters.
