Looking around you will find a lot of variety of items such pet supply, car items, jewelry, pillows, and more at a discount. After walking around we found some items that interested us and paid at the register. They have a big parking lot so no issues there. On any given day you can find something new popping up at K squared. They often get many organic drinks/snacks that are very reasonable as well as full cases of coconut water, and other healthy alternatives to regular grocery store merchandise. The employees are great as well always willing to assist you, and let you in on new things coming in. I went for ice cream but was staring at the prepared foods section when a young lady asked if I was there for food or ice cream - I said I wasn't really sure so she showed me everything that was available then prepared my to-go container (which I ate inside at one of the tables) and then got a gigantic "medium" twist cone for the road. I should have taken a picture but I had already licked the top of the cone. Everything was great: the gals working here were all super friendly, the food was terrific, and the ice cream was extremely cold soft-serve so it didn't melt the moment I walked outside - that was important on a 93 degree day. I left happy for a great meal and a positive experience. I used to ride my motorcycle past here I have no idea how many times and wish I'd stopped but now I have a place to come for food that's delicious and not a chain. Thanks!

However, this fine grocery store had not closed, and rather, it closed briefly about 3 years ago and then moved just a short distance from its old location on West Patrick Street, and popped up again in short order at 45 Waverly Drive, less than a block from its old location (which had been near the intersection of West Patrick St. and Waverly Dr.) and still to the north of West Patrick St. So, this grocery store is still open, and doing fine, and it seems to use both the shortened name Indian Bazaar and the longer name Frederick Bazaar - Indian-Pak Grocery Store. Currently the hours are 10 AM to 8:30 PM, according to the store manager with whom I spoke on Jan. 20, 2016. BTW, the current primary phone # for the store is (301) 668-8899. The old phone # (ending in 2090), for the old location, which still shows on the older (CLOSED) Yelp listing, is no longer the correct number. I submitted some edits to Yelp on Jan. 22, 2016 to enable the creation of this new listing for the shop, one which updates the name of the shop, and also corrects the street address and the phone number. This is a very good grocery store that offers an excellent selection of Indian and Pakistani and related grocery items, including a large array of refrigerated and frozen foods. In my experience, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and when I called the other day just to be sure that they are still open (I was last in the store a few months ago), the older man who answered the phone was very helpful. And, during a recent visit to the shop on Jan. 22, 2016, even though the shop was incredibly crowded, the staff was very calm and helpful. Incidentally, all of the prices here seem to be very inexpensive. To my best knowledge, this is still the only Indian and Pakistani grocery store in Frederick MD. Yes, there are one -- and sometimes two (the number fluctuates) -- general Asian markets located in Frederick, and each of them do claim to offer at least a small selection of Indian foods, but neither of them offers the vast array of Indian and Pakistani foods that are offered by Indian Bazaar, aka Frederick Bazaar - Indian-Pak Grocery Store! There are not many spots, but it would make a quick stop here much less of a headache. Inside, it feels cramped. Like there is a lot of stuff here, but it also feels like it is missing something. I didn't do too much shopping here, I really only came in to pick over the gift cards. That is when I finally found them. I have been accustomed to the stores that has all their gift cards on an endcap. But not this location. You have to be very aware of your surroundings here, because all of their gift cards are scattered about the store, but most notably they have small wire racks near the front. With that, this location doesn't offer all that great of a selection of gift cards.
