With this building it includes, I believe, the building next to it and possibly the one next to that. It's a nice little mix of small town business. From what I gathered, and no there is no directory, they have a banquet type room to hold parties (the day I was there they were about to hold a painting party), a book store, a handmade craft store, vitamin shop and a cafe. The floors above seem to hold offices for businesses and medical needs. It's quaint and unique, that is for sure.

They took advantage of the fact that it is near a tourist area. They also took advantage of attempting to lure shoppers here. Another reason as to why it looks like the built in a hurry, they made it a supercenter, but built it too small. The inside of this thing is way too small to be consider a supercenter in terms of size. With the smaller floorplan you get a smaller selection of items. I noticed that was a complaint in at least one other review. I also noted that in another review, if you are not paying attention, you will bypass this place. Although I do not agree that it is good for any given area to have a Walmart. It comes off as convenient in the spur of the moment, but it really hurts a community most times. Walmart isn't the end all for shopping. Especially when it is as small as it is and doesn't really have that much in regard to variety. Alright, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here. It was just a quick stop for me as I wasn't really needing anything, but since I was out I stopped in. I did a quick once around the store to see if there was anything I needed. Of course, per usual, you come in here with no intentions on buying things and you end up with an armload of items before you know it. I grabbed a few items, paid and made my way back out to the car. Parking lot is a bit of a mess, but what parking lot isn't?

The ring road as of my visit is in poor condition, but repairs were occurring in several areas. Lots of parking, but watch for potholes. This mall is two stories and was built by Zamias, so internally it looks magnificent. It's very much a 1990's mall with its coloring and design, but that only helps it. Mall only has two occupied anchors, Boscov's and JCPenney. The former Bon-Ton and Sears remain vacant. Unfortunately, the interior is largely vacant with many empty storefronts, including several occupied ones not being open. Other problems included all four escalators being shut off, and the mall in general feeling dark. Rare Collectibles was probably the most interesting store I found, having various comic books and retro toys. One positive included the food court being almost full, along with other full-service restaurants being available as dining options. The Johnstown Galleria's new owner has a tough battle ahead to save this mall, and I don't know if he will succeed despite this mall looking so magnificent. I wish him luck.

So much so that it is nearly pointless to venture past center court as most of the storefronts past here remain empty or have become empty. With this holiday season upon us it will be the last that we see some tenants in the mall. Three stores that have been tenants since the mall opened in 1992. The mall will say goodbye to Spencer's, Bath & Body Works, and American Eagle Outfitters. All three tenants are said to vacate and relocate to Richland Towne Center. As ironic as it is, these stores are venture back to the site that was vacated, tore down, and rebuilt because of The Galleria's opening. Richland Mall got the last laugh it appears in the end. Zamias, the original owner and builder of the mall, has even vacated the many storefronts it once occupied within the mall. With some creative handling this could once again be a vibrant mall in a sense. It may not be your typical mall, but this could still be a destination for people if they want it to be. The outer portion of the property seems to still be thriving as the outparcel lots seem to be able to adapt for the needs of the area. Some restaurants have closed, but they have been quickly replaced in whole or with a remodel. It is nice to see that, but it does not fix the interior of the property. I do still stop by every so often to pick up an item when need be, saving me a trip to other areas. What is sad is that some of the areas that have been closed for some time are starting to show deterioration. The old Bon Ton spot is most notable where there is parts of the façade that is falling off the building. Only time will tell if and when this will be a totally dead mall or if this will be saved. Here's to hoping, but like I said, only time will tell.

No thanks. I left without making a purchase and don't plan to return as long as they steal from their customers.

Has several decent anchor stores including Dunham's, Kohl's, and JCPenney, with part of the former Sears and Kmart still vacant. Interior of the mall is very retro and I doubt it has ever been renovated as it has two fully functional fountains. There are also several very retro sitting areas. Interior still has a decent number of stores, but there is without question vacancy. The slum lord ownership by Kohan Retail investment Group (or one of its partners/affiliates) is starting to show here, but it's not critical. Yet. One of the other interesting tenants is a PennDOT Driver's License Center. The mall still has a four-screen movie theater accessible from an outside entrance. There is no dining onsite aside from Auntie Anne's. Overall, I found this mall to be in better shape than I expected, and if new ownership could purchase it, Indiana Mall could remain a functional part of the community for years to come.

In all fairness, the former FD was fairly new and it would have been a shame for it to sit unused. They slapped some paint on it and filled it with the DG wares. Surprisingly the inside is fairly neat and put together. Unlike some locations where there are carts of goods blocking aisles. It was easy to move about to find whatever it was I was looking for. In fact I ended up walking out of here with more than I intended. Actually I forgot what I came in here for. Staff were polite when I dealt with them. The parking lot is rather large compared to most DGs out there. It is a definite plus for the people in the area as it saves them with a quick trip to pick up a forgotten item.
