When the actual move day arrived, my movers never showed up. I was told that my crew never showed up for work that day. They tried to reschedule the service for another day but after many calls and nearly 8 hours later I finally got them to send a crew. The guys that eventually came out were actually pretty good. They completed a move with a pretty difficult set of stairs with ease. At the end of the day, there was no discount/compensation offered for the issues. The next day, bellhops called me again to tell me I was still on the schedule for two men and no truck. That's a hard pass. Just disjointed and unprofessionally handled. Tech is great when it works. Otherwise, you're not improving or disrupting anything. The dude who actually completed my move from another company didn't have fancy tech, but he and his guy AND TRUCK showed up on time and did great work. That's worth more than an app or gimmick.
