Personally I rarely shop here but I can't resist some of their grocery items since they have a wide variety of store brands that offer things you can't get elsewhere. For instance, I've been looking for their seasonal strawberry whipped cream at many of the stores since it's perfect for Valentine's Day, but I've struck out for weeks until going to the Round Rock location. This particular one has been around for decades and looks dated although they've remodeled the inside. The location is convenient right at I-35 and the 45 toll road, and it's just across the street from Walmart with a traffic signal between the two of you need to shop at both. While this is an old, smaller location it seems to have a fine selection like the other stores, so I like shopping there for seasonal things, although they have everything you need from clothing to groceries to toys and home goods. One last tip: use their app and they'll give you 1% back to use on future purchases. And they have free wifi!

This store has an easy-to-follow layout, but I noticed it is different from the others in Austin. Curious. Most of the displays were in good condition, and the clothing was in good order, easy to find sizes. I noticed there were places in the store with large open floor areas. It looked very odd. You can see it in my photos. The floor isn't very attractive, so it really stands out. I saw a few employees walking around the floor, but no one approached me to see if I needed any help. In all, there's nothing special about this location. It's your average Old Navy.

However, looking around, it is pretty much in keeping with what I see at every Dollar General. Many of the items on the shelves are in disarray, and there are both carts and containers parked along the aisles in a state of perpetual stocking. They like to brag about their prices, but they're actually a little higher than your average H-E-B, which also has a better selection. EBT and Snap accepted. if you're in a pinch, this place will do.
