Where I met myself with an already frustrated employee. I placed my two items on the counter. The cashier proceeded to handle the plastic container like she was about to throw it at me. The item didn't have an SKU. Huffing and puffing, she asked if I knew how much it was. I turned the plastic container around and showed her the sticker: $12.99. She, in turn, replied, " I still need to scan it." Management came up and did the same exact thing with more gusto! I expected that management would be able to enter a code and enter the price, and I would be on my way. Well, instead, they stood there arguing about what to do, how to do it, and who to call. The Manager left, and finally, I left without purchasing anything. No acknowledgment that I was standing there as a customer, no acknowledgment that I was not taken care of. Nothing.. It's a shame that people have no common courtesy. SHAME ON YOU, ROSES EDUCATE YOUR EMPLOYEES!

The stores aisles have a few free-standing displays, but in general, the store lacks the copious displays, racks, and stacked cases of paraphernalia of many of its counterparts. I can actually navigate the store aisles with a shopping cart and without bumping into things. The store is also well organized with neat shelves and properly marked pricing. Therefore, I feel less overwhelmed, less claustrophobic, and less like something is going to topple into me than at some other local Dollar General stores. Similar to the rest of the store, the bathroom was clean. The fact I had to ask for a key at the checkout may co tribute to its neater condition. However, I hate having to ask for a key - so embarrassing!

While placing items in my cart, I over heard the manager call another customer after she left the store, a batch. My head turned to see if I really heard what I heard. The manager, a heavy set, blondish haired man was still muttering about said customer. When i went to check out I was not greeted. What was said to me by the manager was "hand me all the bottles as you are not taking the buggy outside because customers steal them" I handed him 4 bottles (32 oz each) and he put them in one bag. I asked him to double bag it and he said one bag is fine. The bag broke upon removing from backseat at home and the bottles went everywhere. I purchased a total of 16 bottles of tea. 12 were in a box so they were easily carried into home. This store is rarely stocked. Also, FYI I did not mean the word "batch" but "b!tch" Auto correct changes words all time. I have called Dollar Tree Corporate Customer Service on 2 seperate occasions and have not received a return call or email or letter. Does the company care how their employees act?? I am guessing not. When I asked another employee what was up with the manager, I was told "he is just like that and to accept it". They have cleaned up their act since the place was leaking all over the place into buckets. This one carries the chips we like, Utz BBQ, which oddly the others do not. They keep the place well-stocked but morale always seems low amongst the employees, not like it is a great job I know. Sometimes sketchy people wandering about the mall. For this reason they have to put poles on the carts so they can not leave the store, and they lock the bathrooms.

First off…read more, when I immediately start to giggle upon entering a store, my people already know that things are about to get SERIOUS! I thoroughly enjoyed being able to actually walk through the isles ( 1 or 2 cartwheels) the isles were not so over stocked with items on the floor, or here or over there. I was able to actually see every item being displayed. I have been looking for crystals and rocks for so long and just about forgot about what I had been wanting , but then coming here I soon understood why nobody else has anything! They have so many crystals and so many different kinds of rocks and crystals and rocks! Prices are outstanding too! Not much of a "kids section" , but who cares they have entire other stores. Home decor is plenty and if you have any questions comments or concerns, worry not, their staff is always watching and ready for you every single step and turn you make! The store was nice and clean but everything is on a really small basis and each section are small compared to HEB in Texas. Looking for baby back ribs and I was trying to find the briskets, ribs and other large meat cooler and my sister laughs and says no they have baby backs half rack wrapped and in the shelf next to other pork products...they only had 4 half racks in styrofoam and Saran Wrap...lol no full racks unprocessed. But don't think too many retired people are making large amounts of ribs like we do in Texas. Cashier and bagger were both retired lady's but service was friendly and didn't take too long to check out.
