If you have half a day to wait in line to check out, it's a good way to kill time. I was there on a busy Friday afternoon, I was #10 in line, after the same person was at the register for over 10 minutes (1 cart), Myself and another dumped their stuff and left the store. The line was to the wall at the opposite end of the store at that time. One register only was open, a girl with long red hair was wandering around doing nothing as I've witnessed her doing on other occasions. a young man was stocking so he was at least busy with a task. Good discount type place. There appears to be some relationship between Ollies and the Fallen Flag " Building 19" up north. The signage and fonts are the same, as is the selection and organization of the stores. This is interesting to see as Jerry Ellis started Building 19 about 1300 miles from here, but the chain folded. Ollie's is the sort of place where if you see something you actually want you better buy it right then. By next week it will be gone and they will be demonstrating other products. They are less expensive than traditional stores and you can buy anything from lawn chairs to children's books. I go there for make up remover sheets, and shampoo. They have extensive coffee options for the k cup. The employees are helpful with the store could use a facelift read more

I got an ad in the mail for 15 percent off everything in store july 4th weekend and i happened to need a new toaster & also a weed eater (i didnt end up finding the latter) I found a great toaster for ander 10 bucks (their appliances seem to be stocked!) And candy and snacks under $1! I went and i enjoyed ollies butim a shopper who was in the mood to shop! I was reminded though, that ollies is not big lots and you get what you see..they dont keep basic food items like soda, chips and bread stocked. But thats ok! Its been a while since i was at ollies and i forgot their business model. What they have is random and at amazing prices! In the ollies follies section in the back of the store, items are damaged and marked down. I got a full color hardback book for 85 cents because the cover was damaged. The cashier was very kind and my experience was overall good! But dont expect to find a certain item when shopping, expect to browse, and find great deals on random things you may need! read more

I purchased a Crock Pot from Ollie's. When I got home and opened the box I found the Ceramic Pot shattered. I called the store to report this and asked for an exchange. They said they will not be able to take returns until after the threat of Covid has passed. I wonder why Lowes and Home Depot can take returns at this time. but Ollies can't? So now I am stuck with a worthless appliance until some unknown date in the future. I cannot recommend buying anything from a company with this unfair return policy. Needless to say I will not be buying anything from Ollies again. I gave them 1 star because I had to post this. read more

This store has amazing bargins but there is one cashier who was pretty rude to me yesterday. I walked into ollies yesterday and i was wearing a backpack because i just got off work. I work for a preschool in downtown. its not posted on the doors or windows that they arent allowing backpacks in there so I was walking around looking at different things for the longest time and out of the blue a cashier who im not sure of her name said in a rude manner maam you cant have backpacks in here because you look like you would steal something. REALLY????? im not the type who steals i pay for everything i buy. I was so disgusted by her rudeness i just walked out i have never in my life been so rudely accused and talked down to. read more

I have gotten a few deals here, but I don't see their prices as being the lowest across the board. If you become a rewards card holder, they will send coupons for 15% off a visit, so you can go periodically and use those. I will continue to shop there occasionally, but I won't assume everything is a deal. read more

It's a closeout store like Big Lots but they have lots of carpet, flooring, books, and small appliances. The prices can't be beat. Sign up for their rewards card, the Ollie's Army card and get coupons and special sales. Most books are under $5! Great cookbook selection. K-cups under $4! It's great. read more

I contacted Ollie's in Leesburg about returning a recliner that I had for over three months. I did not have the sale slip and felt I could not return it. To my surprise I received a call from Chris and he told me they found the sales slip. He told me I could return the recliner and need to see him or Michelle when I bring it in. Again I was very surprised of the service Michelle gave me on returning the recliner. I had no issues and they even refunded the entire amount I had paid for it. We are putting in a large area of laminate directly adjacent to some existing flooring. Found some laminate in Ollie's and there happened to be one loose piece that my husband and I asked to borrow while we compared the new laminate to the tone of our existing flooring. Asked a salesman to ask the manager and he came back and said they don't give out samples. I went to the front and asked for the Manager myself and the cashiers said she wasn't in the store. Explained that my husband was 78 and we didn't want to carry a heavy supply home if the color wouldn't work and all I wanted to do was borrow the one loose piece. They both stared at me and said nothing. My husband said we would never di business with a company that treated its customers this way. read more
