I have tried to call them numerous times and each time a woman answered the phone "hello" in a very abrupt, and annoying tone. I asked to speak to someone about consignments---she said nothing and put the phone down next to where she must have been working. I could hear the transaction and conversation. And then she hung up the phone--and I called back three times with same results. I am going in to speak to the manager. BTW -this is facilitated by my church. I have donated so much to this store and encouraged others to do the same. My question was regarding consignments. I hate that I felt I needed to share this experience. read more

I just had a horrible experience dropping custom framed quality items off today. Hours for drop off are from 10:00 to 2:00. I called last week to confirm the hours. This morning at 8:30 I called to check they were accepting items. I had to drive to 3 different areas in Lake County today. Three hours of travel at least with my car carefully loaded and everything was blanketed to keep it safe. I called two more times checking in, letting them know I would be close to 2:00 and would they still accept my items. Otherwise, I would turn around and go home so I could come back tomorrow. The front desk said to keep coming. I arrived probably at 1:40. Back doors for drop off we're closed, so I drove around to the front of the building, went inside and asked what to do. That person told me to hurry because they close at 2:00. I ran to my car, drove back around and started bringing items to the nice ladies in the back of the building, the door was open then. BTW, it's raining lightly. I had to cover each item, walk it across the parking lot because of the fire lane. They selected what they thought would sell, everything I have is nice but I totally understand their picking and choosing. The remainder I will give to the battered women's thrift. I think they selected 5 items, the best custom framed Florida prints were still in the car. It is 2:00 now. A lady arrived and told me I had to leave. I was very happy and polite to the intake ladies. She told me she could not take anything else because it was 2:00 and if she let me finish up, others would want to come in. Huh, we are at the back of the building?? So, I explained that I called three times today and was told to keep coming. She started arguing with me, I told he I had driven quite a long way. She literally said "Your lying", you were in Leesburg an hour and a half ago. I explained as I was furiously taking everything back that I had given to them that I was in three different towns. Groveland, Clermont, Apopka then without any stops to her shop in Oxford. The last leg was 57 miles with tons of traffic lights and that I called for the last time from Leesburg asking if I should keep coming. Raining hard at that time or should I head back down Hwy 27 to go home. BRW, by the time I had loaded everything back in my car it was 2:06 when I thought to look. I am still shaking my head. So disappointing and a very nasty attitude assuming an owner. I will donate these items to a non profit that is helping a disadvantaged family. Never again, obviously. No need for this attitude in our world. read more

I dropped of 15 pieces of furniture. Liquidating my home. They have no account for 10 pieces of furniture that never made it to the sales floor. 3 I know were damaged by the movers. But there were 5 antiques pieces that were over 150 years old that are not on my account. Are not on the sales floor. And the owner has no list or cant tell me what happened to those 10 pieces. The owner says they went to charity because they were damaged. I do not believe them. I have email exchanges with the owner that offer denials and excuses. But still remains, what happened to my furniture? They also under price everything. One piece was a 20 year old oak curio cabinet 4' x 6' , claw feet, bent glass, lit, 3 glass shelves.. He put $300 on it. $135 my cut. What do you think? $500 would be par in used furniture retail. I am so disturbed,. I cant sleep and shiver every time I think about it. But do shop there for the benefit of the consignors. If their furniture doesnt sell in 3 months they "dispose" of it. ?? dumpster, charity, private ownership, outside sales..they dont say. They charge 55% consignment fee. Dont do business with them. As service provider they are not! read more

Very hit and miss. Not their fault but the quality of the home furnishings here is lacking. Worth the trip to see if you can get luck.

This most definitely is a consignment store. I have used them at least 3 times to sell furniture for me. Their store might not be the cheapest around but they sell only quality furniture in great shape. I don't feel they are overpriced at all. Great bargains. All furniture is in great shape. Things sell quickly so if you see something you like buy it because it will be gone when you go back. Downside of consignment is that they hold your money for a month. Plus they will pick up but will only give you a window of 8a to 5p so you can wait all day like I did. read more

Always interesting and there is always a good collection of good quality used furniture and decor. I actually found a hand mixer, I didn't expect to find one there but I did. During another visit I found the perfect acrylic painting for my master bedroom. You may not always find exactly what you are looking for but this is always on my list of places to shop. read more

Found a china hutch on a Saturday, it's in my living-room 2 days later. Good service. Some great bargains, some items I'd pass up. Great alternative to full priced new, and some of the new just isn't made like it used to be. I'll be checking it out for some other items. read more

Many treasures, but few bargains. My reason for this low rating is because while you can definitely find some gems here, you don't get them for a bargain! And they don't negotiate price at all, which is strange because I don't believe it's consignment either. Everything is overpriced to just under what you would pay for it new. I have yet to buy anything from here because of this huge deterrent. read more

I think it is overpriced but they do have nice Items. If you are looking for used furniture it has to be on your list but check out a couple of other places like The Thrift Store in Leesburg before you make your purchase because I found several items there that met the need and were much less expensive. read more

An excellent selection of used furniture but in excellent condition...not junk. They also have lamps and some knickknacks. If you are looking for one piece or furnish a house you can do it there very reasonably. They even had a grandfather's clock that was priceless for a reasonable price. My suggestion is to post an active phone number so people can contact you instead of maintaining that automatic response that will not even allow the customer to leave a message. Your management people should have a little more concern about the customer satisfaction in communicating with your store. Although I've been interested in visiting your store to purchase furniture I won't drive there before calling for information. read more
