There are placards on the clothing racks that include a price and the words "unless marked individually." When I brought the items to the cashier, she stated that neither had prices on them (so shouldn't they have been the posted price??). She then turned and conferred with another employee about what the prices should be. These items were nothing special. I was expecting the usual rate (around $4-$5), but she turned back to me and said $12 each! I was dumbfounded. I could buy similar items brand new for the same or lower prices. I said no thanks and left with nothing. I will not be returning to this store.

However, there is no need to panic because there is a Walmart in Hendersonville. I actually stopped here to purchase my favorite Hane's tee. I love their men's packaged tees because they are thin, tagless, pocket less, soft and comfortable. They are the perfect item to pair with a simple pair of shorts for walking or just exploring the outdoors. Women's tees just tend to be too heavy or too fussy and these tees keep it simple. Unfortunately, the shelves were empty! It looked like the day after Christmas. There was not one package of tees in any size or color. Huh? I was so disappointed but at least I was still able to stock up on some of my snacks and personal care items. Check out was quick and easy.

The two employees "running" the self checkout were on their phones the whole time, one was sitting on one of the registers that was down, but both paying no one any attention. It took probably 20 minutes waiting in line and then paying for my two items. Wouldn't be as bad if they were properly staffed and had restrictions on phones.
