One good thing about ACME is, they have good meat. But not the Deli. They sell the same junk Walmart sells.

I thought I try them again because their chicken salad is so good. I pre-ordered 2 lb of chicken salad to be held for me till Thursday night and I went in and no one knew what I was talking about. Both gentlemen behind the deli counter could not have been less interested in the fact that I had a missing order. Another gentleman came over and proceeded to fill the order, filled the container with chicken salad, then dumped the chicken salad back into the bowl and said someone else will have to help you. So the other gentleman, who couldn't go any slower if he tried, put the order together. A maximum 10 minute visit to ShopRite ended up being 40 minutes to buy two pounds of chicken salad. I know they're getting ready to do an expansion of that particular store but they really need to get it together to keep the customers that are still shopping there. As for me, it looks like I'm going to have to continue to drive to Wegmans and ShopRite in Glassboro.

The store has all of your basic needs and seems to be the only game in town. Fortunately, Bill & Eileen's also knows how to make a sandwich! They have a nice cold cut selection - I ordered a buffalo chicken breast and Swiss sandwich on rye - it was good! So don't be scared to go inside. Honestly, the experience here was nothing to write home about. It's Walmart--you get what you need…read moreand you get out--but the vibe always feels heavy. I walk around and I genuinely feel bad for the employees. It doesn't look like anyone is having fun or feels supported. You get this overwhelming 'Corporate America' feeling that everyone here is just being treated like a number on a spreadsheet rather than a human being.
