On many occasions, I find this Dollar Tree fits the bill for finding small household items at great…read moreprices ($1 or less for everything). What I always find really neat about this store (as with other Dollar Tree's) is the variety of useful and decorative seasonal items at this store. Last spring I was able to buy ridiculously cheap seeds which did germinate and produce some pretty decent vegetables. Great place to get seasonal potholders or platters for adding holiday cheer to your house. The mylar balloons I get from here last a really long time too. One balloon we got in February lasted weeks. They did fill that balloon fresh up with helium, so you might not have as good luck if you get one of their pre-filled balloons. Another great item to get is there frozen fruit, they are pretty decent and come out to be a lot more economical than normal stores. The store is generally kept very tidy. Sometimes the checkout lines can be a little slow, but this is always in flux like any store. For me it just gives me a longer opportunity to roam around the store and find other small things to grab for my house.

I think their prices seem a bit higher than I'd like to pay. $1.99/dozen for eggs. (Aldi sells the essentials for way less. I'm not ashamed to shop there for certain things.) I do buy meat at Food Lion. I got chicken drum sticks or 99 cents/lb. Their beer selection seems limited but unsure if it is because this store seems small. The staff was friendly. This is a well sized salad composed of romaine lettuce, chopped ham, chicken, crumbled bacon, avocado spread, quartered boiled egg, chopped green onion, plumb tomatoes,1 some crumbled blue cheese,and a large packet of Ranch dressing. This was a nice, fresh tasting salad even though prepackaged. The dressing was a bit in the lite side, but did have some flavor. They have a fleet of sturdy plastic shopping carts with side grip handles, two built in drink holders and a bucket seat for lil' tykes. They are currently re-doing their Starbucks and customer service desks. They are in the process of upgrading their personal care section to a more modern and upscale experience including new and popular brands. Their customer service and self-checkout assistant folks are always friendly and helpful. I appreciate this location and am excited to see the results of the remodel.

The store looked a little like everything had been picked over and some of the shelves looked like they needed to be restocked. After I walked around some of the aisles there was a good amount of items for me to get what I wanted to purchase. The employees I saw were walking around looked like they were trying to put more merchandise on the shelves but they seemed over worked. In the end I was able to get what I needed. The cashier who checked me out was friendly and I paid and left the store. I will try this store again when they are not so busy.
