There were good items. I bought some things but the high ticket items that everybody wants a very difficult to get. I have yet to get the things I really would love. Recently, I came back, I've been trying to get a specific item because I really need it and it's pretty expensive but even though they have about seven or eight of them, I never seem to be able to grab it quick enough or people won't let me in to where the bins are and so I miss out. Meanwhile, I'm bringing a lot of boxes to be opened in a huge amount of stuff is broken damaged or doesn't work it's really disgusting when they open a package and it's very visibly used. Today they opened a small vacuum and I ended up getting dirt from it all over the place. If you're reading this at your deciding whether to come just know that it's extremely important. Did you have them open the boxes because it isn't always what it shows on the box and electronic items or items that breakable are probably broken but not always. I travel over an hour to get here and have to pay toll fees and gas, unless they start getting items that are not used and broken. I'm probably not going to come back. Because I urgently needed to use the restroom, I continued shopping and went to check out. There was a long line of customers with only one cashier, so the wait was quite long. When I finally reached the register, I spoke with Elizabeth and asked if the restrooms were actually out of order. She kindly and politely confirmed that they were working and immediately helped me gain access to the restroom. I want to recognize Elizabeth for her professionalism and willingness to help. However, the earlier interaction was disappointing. As someone who works in hospitality, I understand how important customer experience and accurate communication are. A simple moment like this can make a big difference in how customers feel when visiting a store. Thank you to Elizabeth for turning the situation around with kindness and professionalism.

He runs a small store full of usual thrift items but adds his own friendly, "whatever you say" attitude in his dealings which makes it a pleasant overall experience every time. Place is [unfortunately] pretty unkempt & often isn't even open when it says it should be (depends on when he gets there to open shop). Cleanliness is lower end. Prices are reasonable. Costco trip! Went to Costco to pick up a few things during the week, and it was a nice, quick, easy…read morein-and-out trip. I've noticed that coming to this Costco during the week is usually the best time because there aren't many lines and it's not nearly as busy. The weekends can definitely be a different story, though, so be prepared for a crowd if you come on a Saturday or Sunday! The employees at the entrance who scan your membership card are usually friendly, and the employees at the registers are always nice as well. Checkout was quick, and I was able to grab my stuff and be on my way without any problems. I've never really had a bad experience at this Costco. Whenever I need something in bulk, this is always one of my go-to places. They also have a nice food court! The food court line can get pretty busy, though, so if you're planning on grabbing something to eat after shopping, be prepared to wait a little bit. Overall, another easy Costco trip. Got what I needed, had good customer service, and was in and out!

But when I got them home, they had been in an airtight wrapper too long and were all dead. Dinner plans out the window. I immediately called the number on the receipt and spoke to a manager. I told him the situation and he told me to put them in a trash bag and bring them in for a refund. I told him I'd already thrown them in the trash and he cut me off and stated that they would only refund them if I brought them back. I told him I didn't want to hold onto rotting seafood for 24 hours before I could bring them back and he flatly told me that was my only option. Well, I'm out $13.50 and I can promise you I won't ever buy mussels from Costco again. Note to Costco Vallejo: if you're reading this, live seafood should not be stored in airtight plastic wrap for more than a few hours. Otherwise, the animals suffocate which appears to have happened in this case. Also, the manager I spoke to (7:55 pm, April 7th, 2026) was unsympathetic and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience this caused. I guess I expected too much for his version of "Customer Support".
