They have an entire shelf filled with middle school microscopes! Diodes and doo dads! Used (and some new) military clothing, camping supplies, cots and an endless array of canvas goodies! From dummy grenades to manikin heads, it's here! Then, oh my goodness, wander out back in the "yard" and your jaw will drop five inches! I could have sworn I saw components of the Philadelphia Experiment out there! A sea of metal cabinets, lockers and safes! ATTENTION aspiring restaurateurs: They have a whole mess of used kitchen equipment! Stainless Steel Sinks in various sizes, large ovens and everything in between. I bought two pieces that would have cost hundreds more elsewhere. When I told the owner I was looking for a Southwest table he said "just text me the pictures of what you want & I will send it to my Vendor in Mexico. He can make it to order at a much better price than anywhere else in NM" When I went there to load my heavy pieces the owners family member came out to help me. Totally not required by them, just great people. Some prices were high, but there are many things there consignment so owner has no control over them. This is a must stop.

The Family Indoor Flea Market offers booth after booth of delightful finds, and yeah, a lot of this stuff might be sitting in your grandparent's cabin in the mountains, but there's plenty of retro goodness tucked alongside at prices that compare or often beat what you'll find at your local Goodwill. I didn't buy anything here, but I spent about a half hour admiring the goods and I can think of four or five items I'm itching to pull my consumer trigger finger on. Albuquerque is awash in flea markets, which makes a ton of sense because, hey, this entire state is about two decades behind the times and so there's plenty of Rubik's Cubes to go around. There's a ton to find, here: furniture (not couches, but tables and chairs galore), decorations, lamps, comics and kids items, you name it. And again, I was often astonished at the cost. Here's a nudge: some of these vendors are seriously desperate for a sale. Cheap, you hear me? And I can dig that. I'm cheap. Sounds good to me.

The left half houses the furniture and is brightly lit so the difference is glaringly obvious, The aisles in the surplus area are narrow, with objects sticking out and blocking your path so you have to walk with a lot of care. The center aisles are so dark that you can barely see anything, and considering that most of the items are designed to have low visibility, it makes sense that not having the lights on make for a terrible if not dangerous shopping experience. There appears to be plenty of products but the reality is that the select is poor, its not stuff that most people would want, and it seems to be the derelict dregs leftover fro what other surplus stores across the country rejected. If you are shopping for camping or emergency supplies, this place is likely to let you down.

I often go in just to see what they have and will end up leaving with one or two items. Things donated here are usually pretty good quality too. Plus the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Loved seeing that they now have an enclosed area for adoptable cats. After asking about it to the cashier I learned that over 40 cats (maybe more) have been adopted since being there. Sweet to see! A go to spot for thrifters and animal lovers.

There is SO MUCH inventory here, you really need time to go through each corner. It seemed like there were lots of cool things, and somewhat organized, but it feels daunting going through everything.
