Love this Trader Joe's! They've got a well-stocked floral section that greets you at the door. The scent of rosemary and thyme plants draws you in to peruse the section. I always want to take it all home with me! During the holidays, they've got their hit olive wood bowls, cutting boards, and spatulas. At a good price, it's a great get. You can keep 'em or they make a great gift. The rest of the store includes the staple favorites -- from frozen lunches to vanilla extract for your next baking project.

I personally just love Trader Joe's. I don't think I could ever live anywhere that didn't have one. It's my go to spot for snacks and flowers. I honestly probably spend too much money on flowers but it's always a good weekly pick me up. Huge fan of all their seasonal offerings, including and especially the candles. The cashiers always seem incredibly happy, which is of course, rare for grocery store experiences. I do like to come right towards the end of the day because it's always a little calmer then.

I love Trader Joe's! They have affordable prices and better prices than other stores. What I love about Trader Joe's is the unique selection of food and flowers. The place is always busy and the checkout line is quicker than Walmart. I love stopping by when I'm in town.

Wish I could yelp COVID. I'd give it negative one million stars! Stoopid communicable disease.

Love my TJ's, and even during the COVID crisis, joe doesn't disappoint. Bless their hearts for moderating TP, PT, and hand sanitizer consumption. Everything else seemed to be in the typical adequate supply... other than the usual glut of bread options. Otherwise, they had my fruit and veggies, wine and booze, the pasta and marinara sauce, frozen treats and coffee etc, and the most important... 21 seasoning salute. They regulated store entry to maintain the 20% capacity rule, all the while sanitizing the carts before handing them off with that uniquely TJ enthusiasm. The only thing missing was a post-customer wipe-down of the credit card machine. Now may be the time to get started with Apple Pay. Love you, Joe!

Love Trader Joe's. Nice location. Busy but not generally crazy busy. Stay away from the frozen section because they carry delicious treats!

The guy behind the deli counter provides exemplary customer service, as does the bakery department. All of the cashiers are extraordinarily personable and willing to provide any assistance when asked. The lines move swiftly and the self-checkout always has one or more helpful employees on the spot. The long running employees are a staple of the neighborhood community and the newer ones are always bright and hard-working which speaks highly of the hiring manager. All of the employees are great to have around, even the quieter ones. Lastly, in a neighborhood that can be a little intimidating to some, the security team keeps an excellent eye on everybody and everything. Thanks to them I feel absolutely safe while shopping there, which unfortunately I am unable to to say about some neighborhoods. You can tell that the entire staff cares a whole lot about the well-being of the store, the neighborhood and the community. Long live "Ghetto" Smith's, the heart of the Student Ghetto.

The store works with local farmers and food producers to pass along high-quality foods that are extras. The day I went there were all kinds of fresh meat, veggies, dairy, and lots of other delights, food and nonfood. They have a nice little selection of soaps and other handmade items. I tried the strawberry drinkable yogurt and it was fantastic! Creamy, rich, and full of flavor. I also got some stellar green onions that were the nicest I've seen. Everything was fresh and delicious. The store clerk was welcoming, knowledgeable, and told us all about how the store works and what we could expect. On top of that, it's a beautiful little store with lots of room inside to move freely. I will definitely be back. Although I got quite a few things while I was there, there are a lot of other items that I would like to try. I'm also curious to see what they have next time since the selection rotates on a regular basis. If you want to shop local and support your local farmers and food producers, I highly suggest checking out Bomvida Farms. You'll be able to find everything you need for breakfast, lunch, or dinner or even a nice snack. Do yourself a flavor favor and drop by soon!

Walmart is inexpensive and tolerant. This location is the one closest to me. The arrangement of the…read moreparking lot makes it seem busier than it actually is. Inside the store is huge. (It is a bit like the Tardis that way.) Because the store is so big a lot of people can fit inside before it feels crowded. This location gets high marks for from me for being extremely tolerant. I dance with a sword. The best practice is doing ordinary things with the sword balanced on your head. My apartment is very small so I do grocery shopping with the sword on my head. I usually go at 10pm although early in the morning is also a good option for avoiding crowds. I like being able to get everything in one place. For clothes I usually buy multiple sizes and bring back the rejects. They are very nice about that. Very professional. When I go shopping I like to bring my own bags. I open my trunk. I unsheathe my sword or swords (I am now working on balancing two) then I grab my bags. If there is a security person (or a greeter) I walk up and say hi. I empathize with standing on hard floor all day (because I have done that). I ask if it is ok to shop with grocery bags from other stores. If I am looking for something I have not bought before I ask where he or she would look for it. I never mention the sword. I move slowly and I get all my shopping. Sometimes I practice traveling dance moves as I walk down the exceedingly long aisles. When I am ready to check out I prefer a human. I practice bending my knees without dropping the sword. I dip down, blindly grab something and set it on the conveyor belt. It sometimes takes me a while to get all my groceries out of the cart and put my bags on top. I speak warmly to the cashier and adopt a friendly smile. After 2 years I did have one cashier ask if I have magnets in my head. I handed her the sword and said, "No, there are no tricks. I just balance it. That is why I need so much practice." I have not had any other comments. As I said before; they are extremely tolerant. If I don't get a cart and later realize I need one, I ask someone near the door to please fetch me a cart because I am afraid I may drop something. The staff are very obliging. At first I went at the same time of day on the same day of the week. Now I just go any time that isn't busy. The other shoppers sometimes avoid me and I prefer to make that easy. When my store was open 24 hours it was restocked at 6am so I generally went late at night instead. Now that the store is closed at night, it makes no difference. As a general rule I find that the store is clean and well stocked. There are a few exceptions. The costumes and decorations are a wreck in the week before Halloween. Just before Christmas the store can be a little disordered; especially the kids toys. Considering the low prices (and low pay for staff) I have found the service to be excellent. Once when I was in the fitting room someone took my cart (which was full of shopping). I solved that by trying on clothes at home now. When I return the rejects I let the staff know that I am returning Items that are the wrong size, wrong color or just plain ugly. Only once have I needed to return something for a manufacturer defect. Once I bought a TV/VCR (I am dating myself here.) the first time I used it the thing would not give me back my tape. They were happy to take back the player for a refund but they balked at replacing the tape. I stuck to my guns and insisted that they retrieve my tape or replace it. Eventually they did. If you are concerned about being accused of anything I have a suggestion. Speak to the staff early and often. Ask if the cold/hot air blows in the door. Ask someone for the best way to get a cart if you end up finding a large or expensive item. My mother has someone do the shopping for her and put everything in her car. I still go inside because I believe in sticking with reusable bags wherever possible. Besides, I need the practice with my sword!

The one other thing I like is that they have large parking lots, so finding a place to park was never really my concern. One thing that bugs me was the quality of goods they sold. Often times, the produces seemed not so fresh (you would buy, even put them in the fridge...and very soon, they withered in a day or two already!). Also, you've gotta watch out for expiration dates on some items that you buy there. I'd seen some expired items on shelves...and often times, I saw that some items had just a day or two left of shelflives...even at normal price (not even discounted)! Overall, I go there out of convenience. My partner goes there at times to get some alcohol beverages (they have a separated section for them)...but it wasn't so much his first choice either. It's purely out of convenience. Well, this is just a regular, ordinary supermarket, shall we say?
