I get it, Trader Joe's parking lots are always a nightmare; it's part of their vibe. But this one is ridiculous. People speeding up and down the aisles, parking in your driver side door and generally not paying attention when walking back to their carts with their cars. But my bigger issue is the flow inside. Today is a good example. Before I say this let me point out that I'm 64. Multiple times today I encountered elderly people (couples or people in scooters) virtually camping out in front of tight, key spaces like the meat department. I don't mind waiting a second or two, but when I know what I want I just want to grab it and go. I also had a woman in a scooter practically knock my basket out of my hand. On the other hand the staff here is really good and keeps things stocked and flowing. The checkout people are nice as TJ's people are and, I don't know if this is just a store thing, or a policy change, but they don't do that tired old bit of telling you that they love something in your cart, which I find refreshing. And you can't beat Bourbon and Tito's knock offs for 15 bucks each. read more

Love this Trader Joe's! They've got a well-stocked floral section that greets you at the door. The scent of rosemary and thyme plants draws you in to peruse the section. I always want to take it all home with me! During the holidays, they've got their hit olive wood bowls, cutting boards, and spatulas. At a good price, it's a great get. The store itself is also the clean pleasant experience Trader Joe's is known for, with high quality products and enough of a rotating seasonal selection that there's always an element of surprise. We hit up TJs at least once a week, but not this location. So we are not regulars at this location, but I feel like some of the employees are not as considerate as our regular location. More really just not giving people the right of way in the aisle. This wasn't a one off during the visit. Also someone's kid found a long razor on the ground. The blade was handed off to an employee, but dang. They did have a large stock pile of those mini insulated totes here. Pink and Purple. TJs is cool, but we like our regular spot better. read more

I personally just love Trader Joe's. I don't think I could ever live anywhere that didn't have one. It's my go to spot for snacks and flowers. I honestly probably spend too much money on flowers but it's always a good weekly pick me up. Huge fan of all their seasonal offerings, including and especially the candles. The cashiers always seem incredibly happy, which is of course, rare for grocery store experiences. This Trader Joes is located in Uptown, Albuquerque. That's the Louisiana exit off I-40. It's by a Target and the uptown mall. In the old days, the nearby Coronado Mall and Winrock Mall were king, but they have been eclipsed by the uptown mall, a outdoor designer mall. This is your standard Trader Joe's except the parking lot is a lot smaller and more hectic. Also, they are always out of things. The manager, some middle aged bald white guy, is a low-key jerk, but the worker's seem to like him, so there's always that. read more

This is about one of the products trader Joe's sells. TRADER JOE'S GENERIC GREEN TEA The tea itself is okay but the packaging absolutely sucks. The package falls apart when opened the tea bags are made of flimsy material and fall apart in your cup; the string with a tab detaches itself; and overall the experience is horrific. I personally will not purchase anymore generic tea bags from trader Joe's until improvements are made. I don't know how to find out if that happens other than you replying. I've been patronizing Trader Joe's since I lived in northern California several years ago. I have been so "smitten" with their products that, when I moved to Arizona, I located the closest one and went shopping on my first day there. Now that I live in New Mexico, Trader Joe's Uptown is one of my favorite stores. I love their gingersnaps. I almost always buy a container no matter what other goodies I buy. How can gingersnaps be a staple? But they seem to be. They are great with tea. Great with coffee. Great all by themselves. Going into Trader Joe's feels like small town grocery shopping but with a large variety of yummy options. Best to find their slow times . . . why? You know I pass this place on the daily. For years I've managed to only come here once. That is until now. I'm only sorry that I hadn't come sooner! This place is beyond awesome! Walking in it had that fresh smell like you tend to get going to similar grocery stores like sprouts. Going through the aisles I found myself in marvel by all the delicious food they had available. They had a container of cookies that I just had to try. When I took the first bite it brought me back to my childhood. The way more chocolate cookies reminded me so much of the ol Chips A'hoy cookies. You know back when they actually tasted good instead of just a product. I also found these brownie cookies called "brookies" that just blew me away! Their Asian section in the frozen aisle omg! I'm a sucker for pot stickers and when I saw them fully stocked you knew I had to try them. Definitely will be returning to this awesome grocery store! read more

Love my TJ's, and even during the COVID crisis, joe doesn't disappoint. Bless their hearts for moderating TP, PT, and hand sanitizer consumption. Everything else seemed to be in the typical adequate supply... other than the usual glut of bread options. Otherwise, they had my fruit and veggies, wine and booze, the pasta and marinara sauce, frozen treats and coffee etc, and the most important... 21 seasoning salute. They regulated store entry to maintain the 20% capacity rule, all the while sanitizing the carts before handing them off with that uniquely TJ enthusiasm. I like Trader Joe's for the most part and when I'm staying near one I take the time to visit. This one is no exception. I walked over from a nearby hotel I was staying at and found a quite busy parking lot. Granted this was a few days before Christmas and drivers tend to lose their minds nationwide for some reason before Christmas I successfully navigated the parking lot to and fro without getting hit. Score! The inside is laid out like most TJ's, nothing really new there. It's easy to navigate. I only came here for a few things but bought more. Lots of fresh produce and veggies can be found here. Not to mention a decent wine area (they have some Hall wines) for good prices. I also liked the meat free vegan options they had. I didn't buy any, but good to see. I love love love Trader Joe's! I mean who doesn't? The only thing about this location is that it's always crazy busy. But, if you go the first hour they're open or after 7pm, it's pretty peaceful. Some of their best deals are Charles Chuck and their flowers. Charles Chuck is a $4 bottle of wine that tastes like a $20 one. And they sell it in boxes too. I always stock up when I do my TJ runs. Their flowers are way cheaper than the other grocery stores in town and they're high quality. I once did the flowers for a wedding and bought them all at Trader Joe's for just over $100! They also have seasonal flowers and plants. I always get marigolds for Día de Los Muertos there. Finally, this wouldn't be a Trader Joe's review if I didn't mention they're amazing frozen food section. Most of it has clean ingredients and tastes great. read more

Trader Joe's Is owned by the same people that own Aldis, family owned from Germany.  Their company has had a long commitment to organic food and reasonably priced food.  I think they have some great values and their fresh squeezed Orange juice and their fresh squeezed  grateful juice are outstanding values.   They have lots of good looking vegetables and fruit.  They also have lots of frozen food especially vegetables, potatoes and main dishes other things like French Onion soup, chicken and pork wraps that a person of the person age can use a little bit at a time. I like this Trader Joe's location. It's located in a convenient location and there are always parking spots nearby, so you never have to worry much about finding somewhere convenient to minimize the efforts of lugging your groceries from the supermarket to your car. The staff is always friendly and polite. They help you whenever they can and are friendly to make pleasant conversations when you engage with them. Produces are fresh and of good prices and the layout is clean and not crowded (they took some steps to let specific number of people in at a given time, but the wait is never long at all). I love this TJ's! They always have fantastic produce for prices that are surprisingly low. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I loved the pie mix that they prepared for the sample today and the girl doing the samples walked me through all of the tips she had for making it, which made me much more comfortable in buying it! I usually hate buying frozen meals for my family to eat but the frozen meals at TJ's don't taste like TV dinners. They are made with fresh and healthy ingredients. We have yet to find one that we don't like! The parking is a little challenging but if you give it just a second, a spot always opens up! I love that the cashiers work in tandem to keep the lines moving smoothly while keeping the customer service standards high. They make their own alcohol and it is great quality for low prices. I also really enjoy the flower department. They are gorgeous for low prices. I always tell my husband to buy my flowers from TJ's! I have been to this Trader Joes location twice over the past year. Both times were an affront to basic human dignity. The first time was in January, and the manager set an employee to follow my African American friend around the store like he was a common criminal. I was utterly poleaxed with shock that they would do that at all, much less so blatantly. I complained to the cashier, but, of course, the manager was "unavailable". I went back today with friends that apparently didn't trigger the douchebag in charge. He, instead, chose to go after me for how I was wearing my mask. He had an employee tell me I had to wear it up over my nose, and when I explained that I was medically exempt due to COPD, he got aggressive and told me that the Governor's mandate does not allow for medical exemptions (it does... he should know better -- it is his JOB to know better). He started yelling about the store being "private property" and I could either meet HIS standard or get out. We paid for our groceries while he yelled at me, and left. This is not the level of customer service I have received at other Trader Joes locations, but it is the level of service I have come to expect from this store. A copy of this is going to Trader Joes corporate offices. Racism and ableism are NOT cool in the 21st century, and should NOT be allowed to pass. read more

Trader Joe's is my most favorite place to go. I look forward to coming here once a week or even twice in one week, to complete my grocery shopping. Whether it's 10 things on my list or even 100 items, I know I will most likely find everything that I need and then some. Trader Joe's always have the most basic which are fresh cut flowers ranging from $3.99 all the way up to $12.99 for a bouquet. Then don't forget there are assortment of colorful flower pots and planters for different seasons of the year. You can also find fresh fruits that are selling by the individual or a bag full on the cheap. Some fruits you have a choice of organic selection also, depending on what they can bring in from spring, summer through winter. The same goes with selection of veggies. Especially if you are big veggie eater, one can walk in and grab individual packages of ready-made salads on the go. As I'm shopping during the holidays season, I find it quite fun to check out each aisle and see what is in stock. For Thanksgiving I can definitely find varieties of turkey whether frozen to fully cooked and stuffed full of flavors. I love TJ's. Their adjusted hours for seniors is appreciated. Everything seems to be in stock and fresh. Staff was very pleasant and cheerful (no surprise there). This morning everyone- staff and customers- were wearing masks, all staff wore gloves and most of the customers too. Tip for store-staff would do well to tailor the music to seniors in that first hour (60's, 70's tunes) as whatever was on this morning was unpleasant, most likely young staff preference that we aren't used to. My workaround to that is my music & headphones but most older folks don't have those. Timing is everything - depending on the time of day you will have a heck of a time finding parking (like after work) or after 9 on a Saturday. Around lunchtime isn't that great either. Glad I'm finally retired so I can hit lull times! read more
