And when I was checking out, I mentioned to the clerk that I needed a hat and I was not only surprised that they have hats here (for a dollar!), but she didn't just point me to it but she walked me over to the aisle. That's customer service. Some DTs are untidy, especially at closing time. Not this one, which had well stocked shelves and no boxes of merchandise waiting to be put away. I do think the items here tend to lean more conservative/vintage etc but there are surely gems to be found. During my visit there was a sale for 50% off Linens which was kind of crazy because their original price is already really affordable. I was looking for towels/blankets to help cushion some my heavier and more fragile purchases that I made and I picked up the three hand knitted blankets for $6. I can't even get yarn for $6 let alone have a finished product. This was definitely a more sustainable way to ensure my fragile souvenirs could get back home safely and I think was cheaper than buying bubble wrap. Prices in this shop are inexpensive compared to California Thrift shops so I think it's worth a look!

I was terrified by the sound of the voice and how aggressive it was. I covered up and opened the door to a women in normal clothes, and she realized I was actually nursing my son and she got all sheepish and said something about the lights being off in the bathroom (a different room than the nursing room) I was so scared because for all I knew, it was some crazy person banging on the door and I'm alone in the room holding my newborn son. Apparently there was a report of someone doing drugs in a family restroom (and they checked the nursing room too I guess). I would have been far more understanding if security told me they had a report of drug activity in the bathroom, rather than the weird light excuse. I spent a long time thinking about how impractical that was and how I can't even use the nursing room then if I have to worry about the motion lights of another room or I will get security screaming at me. When I called mall security about the problem, the woman was rude and didn't even apologizing for scaring me and my son when we were doing nothing wrong, saying she was just doing her job, which I understand but it was just not handled appropriately at all. All I wanted to do was feed my son in private. I am very nervous about using the nursing room in the future after this incident, but I appreciate the mall general manager for hearing my complaint and offering to talk to security about how to appropriately deal with issues regarding the nursing room which should be a relatively calm space for a baby and mother. Would be a one star review if not for her, will definitely change back to a one star if I ever experience this again though.

At this point I said I could take 2 twelve packs in place of the case. She stated well they cost more so she can't do that. It was finally decided there were no cases in the store. I felt under the circumstances she should have replaced it with 2 twelve packs. She would not. So I said after all this time now I have to go to customer service to get a refund and I have to go to another store all sticky and wet with pop. Joann went to customer service and got the refund herself and it didn't take long. That's not the point ! There is no such thing as good customer service anymore its ridiculous that this store could not replace with 2 twelve packs. 1 of the cans hit my shin bone and is bruising as I type. Walmart to the rescue and that means that I get to review my 79th Walmart in my 23rd state. Yep, I've hit a few here and there. This Walmart was in pretty good condition. Clean, bright, neatly laid out in the usual Walmart format. I was able to easily find electronics, pick the cheapest car charger and pay for it at the self checkout. I did pass through a few other departments along the way and saw that they looked well stocked and neatly leveled.
