But a bit of a flea market thrown in where you almost never know what's going to be in stock from day to day. Books, lawn furniture, living room sets, towels, winter boots and kitchenware. Most of it displayed on fixtures that don't match from aisle to aisle, or simply stacked on plywood that's supported by cinder blocks. The store isn't the place you go if you've got Asberger's. Many aisles are tight and at odd angles. But hey, it's very very cheap!

Then Label Shopper buys the merchandise and tries to sell it at a slightly discounted price off retail. But the prices and deals are not that good if you know what you are looking at. Remember when Aeropostale had a sale and sold past seasons sweats for $10? Well it looks like Label Shopper bought them all and is now selling them for $14.99-$24.99. So yeah not really a deal there. Their sizes range in all sizes but very select. Example- a lot of the previously mentioned sweats were size XS. So if you aren't that size then your not getting that brand. You are actually better off shopping at Boscov's if you want a good deal/sale. I am giving them 3 stars though because if you would happen to be looking for something specific they may have it and you may get lucky.

BJ's is not as large as your regular Sam's Club or Costco, so it was a bit of a letdown. However, the quality and price of their merchandise more than makes up for it. For example, they have a large variety of quality frozen appetizers, frozen and fresh deserts, and quality cheeses. The frozen appetizer selection is especially useful for holiday get-togethers, and Sam's Club doesn't even get close to the variety in appetizers. Like Sam's Club, they also have the signature cheesecake and cookies. Try the chocolate chip cookies, they're the best! As for actual departments, other than a pharmacy, BJ's has every department that Sam's Club does: office, electronics, seasonal, cleaning, kitchen ware, books and DVD's, clothing, grocery, health & beauty, deli, rotisserie, bakery, tire, and many other small services. BJ's also has gas pumps. With a BJ's membership, you get gas at their pumps for a much lower price than local stations (it's usually 10 cents cheaper at BJ's). If you drive long distances, the gas savings may justify the cost of a membership on its own. BJ's, unlike the other membership clubs, allows you to use manufacturer coupons. BJ's also sends out their own store coupons in a little booklet sent monthly in the mail. Some coupons are better than others, but they're really worth looking through and using. It's also fun to look for the items that BJ's simply has marked down on sale. A lot of the marked down merchandise can be found on the end caps, so make sure to look out for those good deals! After each holiday, they also mark down holiday merchandise (Halloween candy, Christmas cookies, etc.) to ridiculously low prices (they had chocolate truffles $2 a box last year after Christmas). BJ's offers everything that Sam's Club and Costco do in a slightly smaller package. It's an excellent addition to the Chambersburg area, and I highly recommend joining if for nothing but the gas savings!

Everything looks great and decent quality and prices are very clearly marked and very low. Among other things, I greabbed a wired mouse ($5), two pretty matching red coffee mugs ($1.50 each) and a box of Cheez-Its (dammit, only $1). Seems like a decent enough shopping plaza, though it's not particularly well populated at night.

In the daytime, you should be OK, but Chambersburg Police do not recommend that you come to the Southgate area at night. With that being said, the store itself is in decent shape and pretty large (it used to be a JCPenney). The furniture selection is broad. This Big Lots also has a large seasonal selection. As for the actual merchandise, it isn't great. Big Lots used to purchase overstocks, excess inventory, etc. like Ollie's does, but their focus now is mainly in stuff branded specifically for Big Lots. You can still find brand name stuff in the electronics and food sections, but it's becoming more difficult to locate. I used to be impressed by their prices, but now the stuff simply isn't that inexpensive. They're trying to stock the store with more home decor merchandise, but I can find nicer stuff at Target for nearly the same price. There really isn't any reason to shop at Big Lots unless you have your heart set on a specific item.

I came in and kind of mindlessly roamed about. I really did not pay attention in here. I walked in, was greeted and made my way to the back of the store. To me it felt like a narrower store than most, but the set up is exactly the same. Due to my distraction coming in here I did not pay much attention as to whether or not there was anything special. The store did appear more organized and well put together than some.

Phone accessories, sporting goods, snarky tshirts, makeup, toys, books, they even have headphones and travel pillows. It seems like most of the merchandise is rather regular and every so often, something new comes in to shake it up. If you're looking for stocking stuffers, you'll easily fill your shopping basket at Five Below.

They were worn very little and I didn't want to throw them out. Found this gem in town and was so grateful that there was a local craftsman still available to fix my shoe! These people just don't exist much since we live in a disposable society, Normally you'd throw them out and buy a new pair, but like I said these were good, expensive leather booties. Why I was there I also had him cut two leather belts down. Fantastic and inexpensive Not to mention quick turnaround! Highly recommend!
