It's closed on Thursdays, and on Fridays they get new stuff. Seven dollars that day, and then the prices go down. I went on Monday and it was two dollars, I think it's $.50 on Wednesday. Walk in, and you basically see big tables full of crap. You are at a discount store, sorting through tables full of stuff. Some of it's kind of interesting. I ended up buying half a dozen things. I didn't really find what I was looking for, because the selection changes daily, if not hourly. But hey, two dollars for a six pack of pretty good ramen? Cool. Two dollars for a box of KN95 masks? Pretty good. Service was friendly. Place is clean. It's also not super crowded inside, with people or merchandise, at least on a day when it's not nuts like the actual Black Friday.

Think Twice Before Supporting Zettler Hardware: No Employee Deserves Public Humiliation…read more My family and I have shopped at Zettler Hardware in Pickerington for the entire 11 years we've lived here. We've always believed in supporting local businesses because it's convenient, well-stocked, and the employees have consistently been friendly, helpful, and kind. Until now, we've never had a single complaint. Last week, we purchased an item that had been marked with the wrong price. The cashier, who appeared to be fairly new, was doing her best to correct the mistake. While she was trying to figure it out, the owner walked up. Instead of helping her or quietly showing her what to do, he began criticizing and embarrassing her in front of us and everyone else standing in line. She remained polite and professional the entire time, even saying she would appreciate more training. Rather than encouraging her, he continued telling her he couldn't have her working the front if she didn't know what she was doing. During our conversation, the owner stated, "I'm the owner." I replied that maybe he should teach her. He responded, "I don't know how to do it. I just sign the checks." I told him that, in my opinion, an owner should know the jobs they're asking their employees to do. If your staff doesn't show up one day, you should be capable of running your own business. More importantly, leadership is about teaching people--not humiliating them in front of customers. What made the situation even worse was that while I was speaking to him, he simply walked away in the middle of the conversation. As he walked away, he continued making comments to the cashier about needing more training instead of treating her with respect. That was incredibly rude--not only to his employee, but to us as customers. The cashier showed far more professionalism than the person who owned the business. I genuinely felt sorry for her. This experience completely changed my opinion of Zettler Hardware. I can overlook a pricing mistake. I cannot overlook an owner publicly belittling an employee, dismissing a customer's concerns by walking away mid-conversation, and then continuing to criticize his employee afterward. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Based on what I personally witnessed, I will not be returning, and I hope the owner reflects on the example he's setting for both his employees and his customers.

For example, you'll find many more high end items in Dublin than in Hilliard. You may find jeans here for around ~$15/pair. Shirts ~$10-14 each. SELLING: * when you sell, you will get $ the day that you sell your items. This is similar to Platos Closet/Clothes Mentor, but unlike many of the Grandview consignment stores where you don't get $ until the store sells your item. I prefer getting my $ up front, so I appreciate that here. * You get ~30% of what they will sell your item for here, whereas you will get up to ~50% of sell price at the Grandview consignments for example. * You can also get store credit instead of cash here. In that case, they give you 25% more. Note that each Uptown is individually owned, so you can only use that store credit at the specific store you sell. *On average, you really only get $4-5 per item you sell here. * The wait time for selling your clothes is typically only ~5-15 minutes, and you're required to stay in store as they sort through on your first visit selling. BUYING: * note that you if you do return something, you can only get store credit or exchange for something in stores. They will not refund you. *Overall, pretty average.
