    They carry Stouffer Pizzas!
    Laura F.

I was helping my mom and was tasked with running errands today. Stopped at this Meijer around 11:30 am today looking for Stouffer frozen pizzas and golden beets. (Odd combination, right? Hey, Im just the Go-for, lol). This Meijer is located just north of Powell Rd on Rt 23. Easy to find. Getting into the plaza that it is situated in is a bit of a challenge. The cars on rt 23 really do not let up so you need to have a bit of patience if you opt to turn not at a intersection with a light. Once I got into the plaza i was shocked by how much longer this Meijer is than the one near me in Gahanna. I came here for groceries and of course I parked on the wrong side, the entrance that is farthest away from groceries. . If you are coming for those park on the northern side of the lot (right side). That will cut your steps at least in half. Its a huge store. It somewhat reminded me of a large walmart super center. The frozen pizza section is almost immediately behind the produce section, so I lucked out. Even the produce section was super huge. Searched and searched but no golden beets. The frozen pizza section was extensive as well. They have a bigger selection than Kroger and Target.... As I went there first and had zero luck) They did have what we were searching.

Wouldn't price match their own website. Seemed to be a theme this morning. Showed the cashier the website from a google search. the result for the price clearly showed the Lewis Center location. Cashier wouldn't price match. No solutions offered. It's one thing when it's Walmart, it's another much more shocking thing when this sort of apathy is encountered at a Meijer. Glad It's not the only one near me, will be going to the other one going forward.

Love this! Thanks Meijer for putting heathy snacks out for the kids.

Happy National Pig Day 3/1/21 My toddler absolutely adores pigs. She asked for all things piggy for her Birthday. Meijer bakery did a fantastic job decorating this piggy cake. Taste & quality - I am a total snob when it comes to cakes. A pretty cake looks good but it has to taste good all the way through for it to be a great cake. Their cakes are made fresh onsite. The icing is a vanilla buttercream frosting that is light and fluffy with the perfect amount of sweetness. The cake was moist, not dry and had a really great flavor. This 8" double layer cake was less than $10. The price has gone up a little in the past 6 months, but it's still a great deal for a customizable cake that tastes great. @ohiofoodlover

Meijer has a good selection of groceries, household goods, clothes, a pretty decent selection of auto stuff as well. They do have good selections of candles, outdoor items and holiday items as well. I love their bread selections though. I can what I want and they there's a large selection. I do wish they had a better floral section and craft section though. Updating the bathrooms would a huge and much appreciated perk for customers as well.

I felt this place was unnecessarily expensive. Everything is priced at least $2 more compared to any other store.

They have remodeled and now have less of a selection and some items have nominal stock. Produce selection has taken a huge hit.

    Ask the Community - Meijer

Can I parking at Meijer my truck from overnight?

I can't find a link on their site but it's my understanding that you will get towed as they do not allow overnight parking. I'm not sure what your travel path is but the only place I know that you can park overnight is the Pilot on Wilson Rd.

The two men working the counter were both very friendly and happy to help answer questions. Worth noting - it was Sunday at dinner time and it was very quiet. They have an extensive menu and offer catering, too! I am obsessed with all things butterscotch. As soon as I saw their butterscotch cake slice, it was an easy choice - but the chocolate mocha was a solid option too. Honestly, their cakes all looked amazing: decent sized slices with layers of cake, filling, and what appeared to be a stabilized whipped cream. Turns out I was correct on the whipped cream layer! Oh my gosh, I think this is my new favorite cake in Columbus. It's light and delicious and just sweet enough. Indian desserts can be incredibly sweet, but this cake wasn't. It was honestly perfection. Pretty sure I am going to get one of these cakes for my birthday this year! If the mango cake tastes like this, I can absolutely see why it's a fan favorite. It reminds me of the strawberry cake from a well-liked local Chinese restaurant (iykyk) Can't speak to the savories from the cafe, but I highly recommend the cakes if you're a fan of lightly-sweetened fresh cakes!

Then he took three orders at the counter and took ten minutes to box up a cake. I walked to the counter and asked if he had Onion Pakoda. He said no. My bill was 28 bucks and he said: You told me Vegetarian Manchurian...Ummm no... And he argued with me. He refunded it. Food was okay but definitely under seasoned. A lot of places have good paneer and Indian food but this is just an exercise in frustration. Perhaps they should stick to cakes or something where they don't have to interact with people as much. Eh, go down to WY Grill next door or Five Guys...Much less hastle.

For anyone with allergies/restrictions, this is very concerning. Again, I asked one of them what the plum cake was made out of (because I never had one before) and not a single person was able to tell me. I thought that was very odd. The staff requires training in knowing the products being sold and the baked foods need proper labeling, as it will make it easier for the customers to order instead of going around asking what each is. I did receive an answer that the meat used is halal; however, I did question it as even the staff had to ask another person in the back for the answer to this as well. The gulab jamun cake I was excited about, but did not find it to be that great. Overall, I found the place overpriced. The goat puffs are $5 each and the chicken $4 each. The goat ones I found too greasy and had a goat smell to them still. I don't see myself returning with so many other Asian bakeries around.
