So I will at least try to not be biased. Their parking lot...- nightmare. I know, I know... but Im being 100% truthful. It has a weird traffic pattern. People zoom around in it. As if thats not enough to deter me from coming here regularly....The spots are narrow, the traffic lanes are also narrow. My biggest objection: half of it is on an incline (poor grading of a grocery parking lot) why donInsay poor? Well, carts roll around down the incline and cars gets dinged. My car has been dinged here from carts and doors when I dont park far far away. Tip: park closer to the mall and walk a bit further... as strangely that part of the center doesn't use carts and some reason they made it nice and level. Go figure. So weird. The store itself... a typical Kroger. This store: Their tea assortment is limited. Seasonal aisle also limited. Their produce is nice, meat/seafood department was just setting up around 9 so we didnt wait to shop it. (Giant Eagles is set up way before 9 btw) My mom went thru full service to check out. I choose self... which I thought would speed things up. Nope. Their self checkout isnt as user friendly as their competition. It took three calls to the attendant to finish the scanning. The attendant, tho pleasant enough still made me feel kind of "judged" by needing her help 3x's. So there was that. The lady bagging her groceries next to me goes. "Psst, I think this self scanning is difficult too and often think "why didnt I go to the cashier"". Me: exactly!!! Im just not a fan. Im the sole care giver for my mother. Time is valuable to me. However avoiding stress is even more valuable. I get stressed at this store. Even though this is right across the street, I think I will drive up or down the road to the competition as shopping at either location is just so much easier than being at this Kroger and dealing with the lot and the self scanner. There were so many items I wanted to buy but i got the following: 1) A Christmas Spider. I got a beautiful ornamental spider to hang up next Christmas on one of my trees. I certainly learned something new as a Christmas Spider is based of a Eastern European folktale which explains one possible origin of tinsel on Christmas trees. According to wikipedia, "A poor but hardworking widow once lived in a small hut with her children. One summer day, a pine cone fell on the earthen floor of the hut and took root. The widow's children cared for the tree, excited at the prospect of having a Christmas tree by winter. The tree grew, but when Christmas Eve arrived, they could not afford to decorate it. Bought one for my mom (cat) and one for bestie (dog). Its just a cute handmade decoration. 3) Dragonfly necklace. My bestie is amazing and she was especially amazing to me and my family last couple of years especially when my mom had cancer. Mom bought her a beautiful handmade dragonfly necklace to give to her as a gift. She loved it! This is a wonderful little place in Worthington, OH and i recommend anyone in the area to support these wonderful local artists! If you are looking for unique gifts or decor come here! The VIP membership is worth it if you and other family members are buying at least a pair of shoes each year. The custom molded insoles go in my work boots too. This is the convenience store attached to a pretty cheap gas station on the Northside of Columbus just half a minute off of the interstate that loops around Columbus. They usually has cheap gas and it's a big spacious brand new convenience store with some decent water and decent bathrooms and the guy working here is fine. This gas station kind of let me down because I did the credit card and I had everything ready to go only to find out that the pump was disconnected. Yes it processed my credit card and told me to start fueling only for me to discover that the handle was hanging off and the pump wrapped up in a plastic bag and not connected to the actual talk. Once I moved to a different pump things went fine and it was one of the cheapest gas stations in the area which I appreciated. They sell some pretty good spring water at a decent price so I picked up one of those. They have a bathroom which isn't particularly awful so that helped as well. I made a singing video in there and all is well that ends well. Then I drove to Buffalo. Directly. Stopping only to pee out the water that I bought here. TMI.

Talbot's offers a Classic Awards "red card" which is a frequent buyer reward card. Having a Talbot's credit card will get you more discounts but for someone who only stops in once or twice a year, the free red card is a good deal. You get 10% off your first purchase and again around your birthday.
