I am an area manager for a large business and now utilize this establishment from time to time when we are on a pinch. I realize this isn't frequent business but it is giving my business! Today I stopped in to purchase take out ramekins. I walk in and flash my card. The TWO women up front did not tell me anything about scanning my membership card. I got what I need then stood in line to pay. I hand over my membership and the cashier has a problem. She does not communicate what the issue is and merely gets the attention of the manager on duty. He is flustered at the time after she I forma him she is unable to process me. The manager then proceeds to berate me YELLING at me stating "BECAUSE I DID NOT SCAN MY CARD WHEN I WALKED IN HE NOW HAD TO WALK ALL THE WAY TO THE OTHER END AND SCAN MY CARD AND I AM CAUSING HOM MORE WORK". I was not going to stand for this treatment so I replied with wow, I can say I've never been yelled at first of all by a member of this establishment and I have never been asked to scan my card in other restaurant depots. In the end he turned around and did what he had to do so I could make my purchase. I can firmly say I will no longer give ANY of my business to this location little or big. Houston is a HUGE city with many other options at the end of the day.
