Japanese dollar store. Cool stuff. There are some really good deals about. Especially for stationary. The premium notebook is well rated.

This rating is based off of the great service I received and not the merchandise in the store…read moretoday... I was in the area and I decided to go into Marshalls to get look for dress socks and upon going to that section I noticed they had nice designer suits, which I've never seen there before. I thought It was a great bargain once I looked at the tag price and they had my size so I snatched one up. I didn't try it on in the store ( something I never do :/ ) especially with suits, due to me knowing my size. Upon trying it on, the suit was to tight and short on the sleeves. It wasn't to big of a deal due to the fact that I just stumbled upon the suits and I was really looking for one in particular. I am convinced that Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and Ross sell material that didn't pass the quality check at the manufacturers, but are still saleable at a reduced price. That suit felt like it was 2 sizes to small and 2-3 inches short in length. I'll just stick to getting socks and other accessories and buy suits from suit retailers.

So if you see something you "Might" want buy it right then because it probably won't be there later. I bought a cute Michael Kors summer dress regularly price $189.99 for $29.99!!!!!! I also found a blue and white jumper on clearance for $15.00. Of course I bought that too. It was regular price $99. I love a great bargain.

Burlington? More like Surveillance Central featuring Discount Plastic Fashion? Yeah, hard pass…read more The customer service? Nonexistent. I've seen plants offer more support. Their "top flight security" feels like a parody sketch--posted up like they're guarding the Crown Jewels, when in reality it's a $3 clearance belt and a see-through shirt that looks like it lost a fight with a lint roller. And let's talk about the vibe:Dystopian. You walk in just to browse, and suddenly you're being eyeballed like you're about to swipe the Mona Lisa--ma'am, I'm just trying to find a throw pillow, not stage a heist. Meanwhile, we've got options. Glorious, less-aggravating, better-stocked, reasonably-staffed options: TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Ross, Target, HomeGoods... even DD's Discount treats you like a human being. As for the Burlingtons at 8415 FM 1960 Rd W and 10787 Jones Rd in Houston, TX? I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. Okay, maybe my worst enemy--but only if I really wanted to ruin their day. Pros: had lots of shoe choices to choose from. Great prices!…read more Cons: I felt like a criminal entering the store as I had to be let in by a security guard. There were no benches to sit and try on shoes. There were no mirrors in the shoe area to be able to try on shoes. There was only one dressing room functioning at the time. Employees did not seem friendly and welcoming. The cashier that I went to had such a strong weed smell I had to look around to see if it was somebody else or if it was just her.

I went in this evening to self check out. With a few items. One item came out to 25.97 (or…read moresomething) and I couldn't tell what it was. I pressed the button for assistance and the African lady standing and pointing to open check outs glanced over and when she came to help me I asked her, "hey, I'm not sure what I got that's 25.97 but I don't need it. I'm sorry" so she responds "don't you want to just go over to customer service so the people in line don't she to WAIT ON YOU?" ‍ is this just a Houston thing, where people are rude and unkind to others, even when they're working, even when I'm being nice? You are presuming I have 26 additional dollars to spend the plate was in a spot with the same other plates that said 6.96. I am not asking for a discount or oh it was in the wrong spot, just please help me take it off real quick. I literally bought 2 tshirts, 1 salad, tweezers and like 8 notebooks all the same color, size and price. 2 dog sprays. So it's one item, she quickly located the item took it off and walked away while I was speaking to her. I was so personable and friendly toward her. The way she should be acting as someone who gets money to work at Walmart I'm a nurse . It would be a shame if I treated her/your family that way, wouldn't it? Gas light you into feeling guilty for needing something from me. I try to brighten peoples day and it just sucks when you send me out of your store in tears because you are heartless, have no etiquette or class, low bottom of the totem pole not professional. Walmart employees need etiquette? Or just Houston? I dealt with 2 other workers in Walmart at auto and beauty paying 3 separate transactions. I have a whole story about trying to be in auto too. We all have jobs, we should all be capable of being professional and kind in all circumstances. Otherwise you need to find a new job if you can't deal with people. I work too.
