There are always the cutest things in five below. I went today to look for wedding shower decor and couldn't find much, some plates, napkins, a birthday banner that will serve dual purpose. The store itself is not bad but I'm a bit tired of them letting scammers park outside their front doors and sell stolen candy, beg for money, or run donation schemes that may or may not be fake. You can find some decent bargins here otherwise. Esp for every day items or things for holidays and birthdays. read more

8 Below would be a better story of Barbi's personal life, but 5 Below is definitely a good summation of her shopping life. Barbi has fallen in love with Five Below locations, to the extent she stops at every one she sees, requests it every time it's shopping time, and is a little obsessed. She rarely walks out without buying something, whereas I think they're not so great. This is one of the better ones. The service is okay and the stock is usually pretty cool. I don't think I've ever brought Barbi in here without her getting at least a few things that she likes. read more

I go in here from time to time and I have to say it is always nice and clean. The staff does s great job keeping it tidy. If you are ever looking for a phone case this is your place to go. They had some I saw at Best Buy for $20 and here for $5.00! They have tons of charging banks, cables, Bluetooth headphones and so much for your phone. I came today looking for a basket. They did not have what I was looking for but I still enjoyed looking at everything. Bath bombs, books, tons of St. Patrick's decoration, Easter supplies and oh, don't forget all the beach toys! Great place to save money on kids party supplies as well. No purchase today; maybe next time. read more

Shady location. Does not have bathrooms? Standing in line to return the start of a lot stuff I've bought as I visit multiple locations. Walked in and asked if I could use the bathroom first before I shopped. I was told by a blessed soul they don't have bathrooms. Then I simply asked then how do you all go. Where do you go when you have to do your natural bodily functions? I was told then the bathrooms are out of order. So I'm like which is it as it's against the law to have not have bathrooms in a public business. They should be working. I've worked in retail to know they tell us that so they don't have to clean them as I know they don't get paid enough and when you want to go home at the end of the night. I get it. Also told it's a personal question when I tried to follow up. Yep. I'm good on 5 below. As a teacher words and principles matter. Not lies. Plus they don't have a good selections anyway. First time visiting this place and I must say we were impressed. I pass by the store on my way to work every morning. I didn't quite know exactly what this store was about as far as if it was clothes, food, or something else. Then I saw a new segment on our local TV station talking about this store and all they have to offer. Decided to make this a date night hit up spot. This location is next to sprouts farmers market off of Highway 6. Upon walking up to the store I saw that they had five dollar basketballs and footballs. I already knew that I would be impressed walking in here because you can't get a basketball for five dollars from Walmart. This places mantra is that everything in the store is five dollars or below so it's kind of a premium $.99 only store only with way better quality. They had lots of various items in here at a range of prices but nothing over five dollars. They had a beach section with swimwear as well as accessories. They had a fitness section that had weights believe it or not that although were tiny was still useful depending on your fitness goals. They also had foam rollers yoga mats and boxing gloves for kids as well as some cable bands for resistance training. They also had a greeting card section with one dollar cards they had an iPhone accessories with cases as well as headphones that were really good quality. And just a hodgepodge of wonderful items in the store all great quality. They even had a comic book section where they were selling four packs of collectible comic books from marvel and DC comics for $4. I thought that was awesome and I have never seen that before in a store Needless to stay we spent a lot more than five dollars upon this visit but we got some really nice items and we even found some nice size foldable chairs they even have skateboards! I definitely see that we will be back here to spend more money in the future but we definitely got a nice bouncy for the fact that they opened not too long ago I think about two weeks ago read more

Like people have said before I figure they don't pay these employees enough. It's pretty obvious... But at the bare minimum know how to count back change! Or maybe bother to actually LOOK at the money the customer had given you? Maybe it's this young generation? The thing costs $1.62. I give you one dollar bill, 1 quarter and four dimes, the change is three cents kids! Of course I don't need three cents. When I looked at him with my handout, he asked "oh you want your change back?" I told him this is the first time I've been asked this question at a store. Is this a new thing? He said in order to get my change back he would have to call a manager! Of course I didn't have him do that. We need to pray for the youth! We need to have the education system improved! It really looks like either just don't care or really have no grasp of basic math! Then I look at the receipt and he typed in that I gave him the exact change! When I didn't give him any pennies! I know this sounds ridiculous as I type it, but come on people! All that being said, I will be back here because my kids like the candy selection and now and then I will find an odd item to purchase, especially around the holidays... read more

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that a store will not let paying customers use the restroom. There is absolutely zero reason not to offer this simple common courtesy to your customers. I know they used to so I'm guessing that they are now turning away their customers in the name of covid 19. I'm just guessing on that because I was offered no reason when I asked. Soooo an updated review. Had to come here last minute to get my son a backpack and while we were here he noticed a squishy that he wanted. Well i asked the big lady wearing the blue shirt if she knew if they were all priced at $5 (because of it being small in nature i had to be sure) well she was sooooo DANG RUDE. She snapped back at me and said she doesn't know that they can help me in the front. She didn't even take the time to walk over to see what i was referring to. She flipped her dry hair at me and sped off fast. Her name was Gigi .. i think the owners should double check on who they hire. The reason why they hire people for these type of jobs is because their supposed to have great customer service but she lacked that plus more. Save the attitude for McDonald's girl. This is REALLY cool. When they say it's 5 Below, they really mean it! I spent about half an hour just checking everything out at the store and nothing was over $5! Although for a discount store, it's a bit messy. I wouldn't say it's TOO messy, but you can definitely tell. Especially with the clothing items. Speaking of clothing items. I was tempted to buy a couple. There are some awesome shirts that I could see myself wearing, as well as Toms slip on knock off shoes. Just all for literally $5. There's a bunch of really cool and useful stuff, like school supplies, party stuffers - bags, plates, cups, napkins, tissue paper...etc, school decals - lots of UT and not much of UH, mobile accessories, summer accessories,.... Etc I seriously just only wanted to walk in to see what was in there and I ended up with a car charger that I've been needing and a picnic blanket/tarp. I don't know why I bought that last one. But it was just cool and I thought I would need it one day.... They also sell a bunch of cool little snacks. Some that are in cute little cases with brands such as Super Mario, Hello Kitty, and a few others. They even have Asian snacks such as pocky, and hello panda. Would I come back? Most likely. Located right next to Goody Goody Liquor Store and everything is $5 or below...!!? I like. Needed a cheapy table cloth for my demo and they had some fun plastic ones for 4/$5 or just some basic ones in all the colors of the rainbows. Great selection of party items and because it's summer they also got some great pool stuff for the kids!! But what do I really like about this place...? Their selection of Haribo Candies. I enjoy going to this store because it is a walking distance from my job. They have a-lot of items for sale for a decent $1-5. I bought a mermaid hat that was for $5.00 and at other places they are selling it for $20.00. There is a lot of varieties. After passing this store, I finally stopped in to give it a visit this weekend. I'm not sure what I should say about it. It seem to have a surplus of children toys and board games. I guess that's a plus to be able to purchase a board game for $5....I'm almost forced to refer to it as a "Glorified Dollar Store", which is not a bad thing if you have a need to stop into a dollar store from time to time. I plan to give it another visit and take my time to really strole around and get a good feel. read more
