5.20.26 I stopped in to buy some books. If you have not been to an Ollie's before, this is the place to buy books. They have a large selection of toddler, teen, young adult, How To books, craft books and history books. Almost all of the books I bought were $2.99/$3.99. Regular price was $19.99 and $14.99! This location was more tidy than the College Station location and also had a better selection of toys/games. The cashier was very friendly and polite. read more

Ollies Bargain Outlet is certainly a bargain if you know where to look. Don't let the handwritten labels fool you, Ollies selection is unmatched with new and unused patio furniture, books, cards, craft supplies, laminate flooring, home restoration items, rugs, kitchen appliances, blankets, towels, food, cosmetics and more. I learned the hard way that not everything is a bargain, and I'm personally still learning what is what, but it's easier to go right than go wrong here. I was personally surprised to find name brand household items and other assorted items like toasters and coffee makers for affordable prices so if you plan to visit, my advice is- compare pricing. As someone who is constantly in search of a bargain, it's hard for me not to like ... no, love Ollie's. I've been used to discount stores as 99 cent stores in NY or the Dollar Trees of suburbia, but Ollie's certainly tops them all with space and inventory. This is no Goodwill / Salvation Army type of a store -- most everything is new. Their slogan of "good stuff cheap" couldn't be a more accurate way to describe the place. Since the inventory is under constant change, I'm finding that everything changes every few weeks. This is a really easy store to just randomly peruse in search of something heavily marked off. In addition the store is clean, the bathrooms are solid, and generally everything is easy to find. I personally love their office supplies section, as I'm always able to score pens, markers, notebooks, and other various things. I also love that they have massively large rugs and have an incredible selection of toys, books, and other gift worthy inclusions. Service has always been pretty good with me. I rarely see large crowds in here and even if there is a small line, it's dealt with very quickly. I am already looking forward to my next visit back. read more

I found out about this store just driving by it on Jones Road one day. It's kind of hard to see from Jones because it sits back from the road and is in a huge shopping center that spans about 3 football fields in length so there is plenty of parking in front. Inside, it's a discount store that sells food (mostly dry goods) and a lot of other stuff including furniture, lawn and garden, toys, automotive, (including close out and excess merchandise), etc. and resembles a Walmart. Prices here are below average. This place is definitely worth a stop. It's motto is "Good Stuff Cheap". I agree. read more

We purchased a dehumidifier for our storage room in March 2023. We plugged it in for the first time in June 2023, just prior to leaving for vacation. When we returned a week later the plastic fan blades were all broken up inside of the machine. Of course, we were beyond the 90 day return window so the manager at the Lake Jackson store wouldn't help us. That was a waste of $270.00. Beware of purchasing something mechanical from them. I just had a second item fail from them, which was a great flexible hose...until it blew apart. Very disappointed. read more

Ollie's was ok, my first customer service experience walking in they spoke but looked confused, then when I came back to ask for a specific item they kinda pointed to the back of the store like I was a regular. Later ran into another associate who didn't work at that location but took the time to go look for the other item. For the item I got the price was decent, and they came back from bad customer service to good customer service. I was offered a membership and will be going back to see what deals they have next week. read more
