My experiences in here has been good. When I go it's always well stocked and neat. They have what I'm looking for and even some things that I've never seen at other Dollar Tree locations. Going away for the weekend or week I like a quick stop in here before leaving. Sample sizes of toothpaste, deodorant and shampoos can be grabbed. Staying a bit longer consider pitchers, plastic containers, zip lock bags, snacks and a couple of "noodles" for the pool. We all hate using a dirty grill with lord knows what on it, you can find grill liners here. And not wanting to take a bunch of spice bottles with me found just what was needed to save space a big daily pill box ya ! Use a label maker to tell you what's inside and toss it in the suitcase. I LOVE DOLLAR TREE. Me and my mother live at dollar tree. We know where everything is and we always go there. Dollar Tree should have a tip jar. The service is amazing . POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...from the Store Manager herself (Melissa). I had just left the store next to them, and forgotten batteries. While in line, Melissa told the customer in front of me the internet was slow, which equals slow cash registers. She was nice to him. I should've just gone to the other register when asked by the other cashier, but I let the lady behind me go instead. Melissa did greet me, then the woman behind me, whom I believe was an off the clock associate. I used my card to pay, and it came back declined (WHICH SHE ANNOUNCED TO EVERYONE). 1st she said it was because I took the card out before it said approved, which isn't true. The machine beeped and told me to remove my card. 2nd attempt Melissa got a bit more pushy attitude wise, and the associate behind me starts rolling her eyes because I stated that I just used my card so it shouldn't be declined. I was over her attitude of "well I'm just telling you this," and "I'm just showing you that"...Shut up seriously. Too much talking, and not enough well let me see if it might be on the store's end. My bank confirmed it was the Store, which I obviously already knew. Melissa embarrassed me much to her delight. Disgusting behavior for a Store Manager. It's great the items are cheap, but I'd rather spend my hard earned $ where my dollars are appreciated. At the end of the day, customer pay your salary Melissa! CLEAN IT UP! MAINTAINING A CLEAN SPACE. Don't get it twisted! I am not a fan of filthy floors but I do love the Dollar Tree. Instead of trying to have carpeted floors that are never cleaned, they need to strip the floors and focus on keeping them clean. This is always the first thing I notice when I enter a Dollar Tree and it drives me nuts! So I love to go to Dollar Tree to re-stock my cleaning supplies. I love the Awesome cleaner, (concentrate), carpet cleaner, Fabuloso, rubber gloves, large brushes, tooth brushes and other items. I know that everyone is not into cleaning but it works for me especially when I am stressed or bored. The primary weapon in my cleaning arsenal is Awesome from Dollar Tree. I use in on everything from appliances, to bathroom fixtures, spots on carpet, wall and door smudges, base boards etc. I also started using it to replace the cleaner in my Swiffer because the cartridges are over $5 apiece and the Awesome is just pennies. This product is much safer than bleach so it was great when teaching my kids the fine art of cleaning. Just make sure that it does not come in contact with your furniture or anything with a varnished coating because it is a chemical. It has a very light and clean smell. While you are at the store, don't forget your rubber gloves and make sure that you use different colors for different areas, pink for the kitchen, yellow for bath fixtures, blue for the toilet. This helps to keep from cross contaminating or just being gross. Make sure you educate the kids and spouse. The toothbrushes are great for fine areas along the carpet, and around sink fixtures. Although I have a carpet shampooer, I still need to apply a little elbow grease at times so I like to use their large brushes or those hard to treat areas. Cleaning the kids' rooms: I know that some of you are so frustrated with your kid's room just being a mess that you want to scream. Figure it out, why is it such a problem? I realized that my kids were just overwhelmed with it all so I started doing a major clean maybe three times a year (in secret, when they were out of the house). I would totally "gut" the room and reconfigure it, sometimes with new furniture and accessories. Yes, I actually threw stuff away and organized the rest!! (something they had difficulty doing). They loved it and still call it the "Mommy Makeover". I made sure that they understood cleaning meant going under the bed, cleaning baseboards and doors, organizing closets, windows, fans, shampooing the carpet and just being detailed and thorough. Kids love the surface or shallow clean because they just want to get it done and get going. Not on my watch! ***Address their specific weakness: Son-car parts and junk under the bed and clothes left in piles on the floor, a fear of cleaning. Solution-larger dresser (that he REALLY liked), car parts in garage or shed, I spent several cleaning sessions with him to show him how to organize and attack the problem. Daughter- Pack rat, didn't like to throw papers away. Gave her an office with an executive sized desk with great organization. She was emotionally invested in her junk, but I was not so it was easy for me to just toss out those four year old academic papers and she was cool with that. My kids came to realize that there is "Mommy clean" and that other type of clean which really doesn't count. They were always proud of their new space and it was much easier to maintain so we were all very happy. ****If your kids are sneaky, secretive and mistrusting of you, cleaning while they are away will not work as they will simply see it as snooping or an invasion of privacy. Now that my daughter is living in her own space, she is a Dollar Tree fan and now manages to maintain a very clean and organized home. It's the gift that keeps on giving! read more

Only place you can go when you go when you use as much conditioner as I do to take care of this afro. You just can't go wrong in a dollar tree, with paper, pencils, birthday cards, balloons (so have used this stuff for my kids parties), and snacks (dude if you have the munchies this is your spot). Will be visiting again soon time for a refill. read more

It's 2020 and clearly the store mis"manager" is Melissa and she is still there. I really wish I looked at the reviews before allowing myself to get angry. But it's the dollar store! You shouldn't expect an employee to want to take you out of your character. I thought the woman in front of me pissed Melissa off because she gave her loose coins to count bc that's what she paid with. But when it was my turn in line my asking her to blow up balloons was a problem for her. The amount of huffing puffing and rolling her eyes was surreal!! I thought I was being filmed bc I've never seen such blatant disrespect from an employee. When I went to my car another customer came up to me and thought maybe I had losses her off with my balloon request bc she was so ugly to her as well. This is unacceptable but it's obvious corporate doesn't care bc Melissas name is all over the bad reviews. And also the store is a hot mess- stuff all over the place. read more

Today I was shopping at the Dollar Tree on 5805 StateBridge in Duluth Georgia and while shopping heard the store manager SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS at a worker. They were in the office and it must not have a ceiling because everyone stopped to listen to how she disrespected the guy. She was very unprofessional and almost sounded like a child throwing a temper tantrum. The employees weren't even shocked at her behavior. They were saying that's how she speaks to them and they've complained but no one has done anything about it. I've worked in retail for over 15 years and I know you shouldn't speak to your people like that. Someone needs to come in this store and investigate this behavior. It's unacceptable. read more

I went to this Dollar Tree last week and it was really bad. I think they may be going out of business? The shelves were almost bare and there were boxes of unopened merchandise everywhere. Some of the boxes indicated there were Christmas themed items enclosed and it's almost the end of Jan. Not good. read more
