I ordered three containers of Chobani oat milk, the same brand I regularly purchase from other Target locations without issue. Every single one went bad within 24 hours of opening. At first I thought something was wrong on my end, but when all three had the same problem, it became clear this location has serious issues with how they're storing refrigerated items for pickup orders. I've never had this problem at any other Target, which tells me this is a location-specific issue with temperature control or storage procedures. The oat milk isn't supposed to expire until February. Won't be returning to this location. My home Target may be in the ghetto with nightmare parking, but at least they know how to properly store refrigerated items and I actually get quality products. At checkout, I was told the price was now $1.50 "due to tariffs." There wasn't a line--I agreed to the increase because it sounded logical given what's going on globally. Then the cashier went on to explain that all items will soon be increasing in price to $1.50, but that certain tariffed products were being raised first. I didn't ask for a list, but let's be clear--there's no sign or posted notice about this supposed change anywhere in the store. Here's the issue: Brillo is made in the USA. I called the manufacturer directly in Walled Lake, Michigan, and they confirmed it: there are NO tariffs on their product. This is a homegrown American brand, and falsely tying price hikes to tariffs only hurts them--and misleads customers. This isn't on the cashier. They're just repeating what they've been told. This falls squarely on ownership. Blaming tariffs to justify price increases is deceptive and disrespectful. If you're raising prices, just say so. We understand prices go up--what we don't tolerate is being lied to. This kind of dishonesty breaks trust and takes advantage of people trying to support local businesses. Respect your customers.
