These folks have outfitted two generations of my own family essentially. I have older kids who are reaching their 30s and I have younger kids who are just now about 10. Both sets of kids have enjoyed room pools of furniture and items that we have used through the years for practical purposes and fantastic, comfortable useful items they have made a difference in our lives. I always appreciate the value of their products. The pricing is pretty darn good, especially when you get it on the sale, and the folks are always friendly and helpful. I'm really grateful that we have one of these stores not too far from where I live.

When we got home, a two hour drive, we find she gave us the wrong quilt. Called the store. They wanted us to drive back and make the exchange. When we declined that suggestion, they said they would ship the correct one but only if we would pay for the second quilt as well. Asking for overnight shipping, the clerk said they would only if we would pay the extra delivery charges. We declined. Once the second quilt arrived, we had to call the store multiple times over the next week to get them to send the return label for the original quilt. When the label was received and the package was returned with confirmation by the UPS tracking number,we again called over multiple days asking for the credit to our credit card. They would not check on it and said we should call our bank to ask them. Eventually the credit was given. I called the Pottery Barn corporate office to register our complaint. While someone did take note of why we were calling, the return call that was promised has yet to be received 10 days later. Pottery Barn, if you are reading this please do not respond with a form letter apology. You sell nothing that anyone has to have. All your products are enjoyment items. Dealing with you should be likewise.

I called Jonathan at JCPenney's, he's a young man who sold us the mattress very nice guy. I feel like none of this is his fault.. He called the delivery people who told him they don't even deliver on Sunday and he called me back and said they would call me within an hour and a half. Five hours later I called Jonathan back because I received no call. He gave me the phone number for the delivery place I called them. They wanted proof that I did not have the mattress. I was told that those guys would always call if they were not going to deliver a mattress, but we got no call and we stayed home all day waiting. I was told they would see if they could find the mattress and that they would call me for sure the next day or the next day has come and gone. It's now the 18th still no mattress, still no call, but they have our money. The blue truck delivery service that JCPenney uses is an absolute joke again I would never buy anything from JCPenney that needs delivered. In fact, I believe we will be not buying anything at all ever again at JCPenney.!!

Employees - They are beyond disrespectful; they ran into me and my daughter with a baker's rack with a lot of boxes on them, my daughter was cut, and she started bleeding (it was a little cut but still insanely unbelievable) I asked them if they saw us, and they looked at me like I was delusional like it never happened so I asked to speak to a manager and they had no clue where anyone was! I'm sorry but how do you not know? You all work together? Managers - After waiting so long to speak to someone they show up and while talking to the managers about the situation that the employees caused, one of them proceeds to look at me and say it wasn't a "big deal" and that it wasn't serious that my daughter was hurt and in an injury, they told me they could get us help walking out My daughter was hurt, and I didn't apricate the rudeness that was given Maybe reconsider bringing out a whole baker's rack on the floor when there's people around to avoid injuries. do better with managing employees and teach them to be more respectful, and gentle to kids. and managers stop saying shits not a big deal.
