I have passed the place many times while walking around and today I decided to see what they had beyond what they put out on the sidewalk. It is my kind of antique place: on the dark side, a bit musty smelling and jammed with old pieces of this or that scattered everywhere. We saw some very nice pieces that we will be back for but I managed to find a little something unexpected and the price was very reasonable. Prices in general seemed reasonable and I could have spent another hour in there. Very helpful woman working there - and not all up on you to purchase something. They no longer provide shopping bags but are pleased to charge a buck for the kind of tote-bags many charitable outfits send me for free. The CDs doubled in price and the knick-nacks are also quite a bit more expensive. Clothing is up a little. Glassware has gone up a lot and new goods are prominently displayed at regular retail prices. The books have been relegated to the back o7f the store and a nice lady who organized the books is not there any more. They are no longer organized in any manner.

It's a medium sized location with separate areas for men, women, appliances, furniture, electronics. I usually go in looking for particular things which I did not find this time. The good thing about goodwill is there will always be a new variety and by supporting them you are also supporting their cause to employ people with disabilities and/or disadvantages. I always look forward to what I might find next!

There…read moreare a few issues with this place, one being that it is connected to a landscaping supply center. There's a small area of the gift store things, but right within the same space, are landscaping things. The 2nd issue, which to me, is actually quite huge, is the fact that every time I've gone in there (3-4 times in about a year), there are men at the counter, talking and conducting landscaping business. It is very awkward to be looking around the gifts and decor, with landscaping guys hanging out just a few feet away. It is just very off-putting. It has been uncomfortable enough for me that I've stopped going. There's simply nothing they could have that I'd want badly enough to do my browsing in such an environment. It's very unfortunate, too, because their former location was incredible. This current location and the situation it's in, is such a step down, that it's clear the shop owner isn't serious about the business. I'll never be going back :o(
