I shop at Dollar Tree pretty often and this location is definitely not like the others. The staff always seems happy and helpful. I regularly see managers and floor staff walking around checking if anyone needs help. The store is well kept up. The inventory selection is fantastic and everything gets pushed out onto the shelves so the store stays fully stocked. You never see boxes cluttering up the aisles like at some other locations. Everything is extremely well maintained so you can easily walk in and find what you need. Checkout times can occasionally back up which is common for Dollar Tree. However as soon as lines start to build a manager or another employee steps up to open a register and clear the line. You are rarely left waiting for more than 5 to 10 minutes. Ambiance- I live in Tower District and this Dollar Tree is in the heart of Tower. They finally got the boards taken off the door and hopefully, it will stay like that. I love their craft section as you can tell. Lol. I personally just like this Dollar tree because it's nearby, I frequent it a lot and know where everything is. You get occasional transients here and there, but if you've lived in this part of town for awhile, you get used to it. Service: Meh. I've been when the workers are extremely nice and I've been when the workers just don't care. They've never given me bad service though. Selections- What I've learned about dollar tree is pickers can't be choosers. I love how big this Dollar tree is, but wish they had more dollar plus items like the one in Riverpark. Living here in the tower, I've come all different times of the day to this location and some of the people that shop here are not great or great to the staff. Today I walked in and they were very busy considering it is Christmas time dealing with a lot and I was looking for specific wrapping paper and the store manager, Maria was so helpful even looked in the back for me with everything going on. Just wanted to share an incident that occurred on 11/20/24 around 1:30pm. While I was shopping in this store another customer came up behind me and groped my ass. He then tried to flirt with me and I started yelling at him and cussing him out. I called my boyfriend to come pick me up. This man started threatening to fight who ever I was calling. The manger asked him to get out because she didn't want a fight but she didn't bother to follow up with me or ask me if I was ok. I have filed a police report and a complaint with dollar tree corporate but wanted to post a review in case anyone else has experienced something similar. read more

Sunday 2pm Not sure what happened, but on this day there were several front windows broken out and replaced with wood panels. I hope that's fixed soon. It never fails, almost every time I leave this store I get hit up for money from a random person in the parking lot. Ugh. On this day I was in search of Maggie Holmes or other brand paper crafting goodies but alas, DT didn't have them. Where are they? I've been to four DT's in the Fresno/Clovis area with no luck. I see people on YouTube sharing that they have them in their stores. Of course, you never walk out of the DT without buying something! I came here to get a purple water bottle after mine got messed up. Had to look around also! Lots of great Easter stuff! A lot of of other different stuff. A lot to look at! Safe and pretty clean. Easy to find stuff. I ended up getting an egg towel, the purple bottle I wanted to get and a pet bowl placemat for Sweetie. Waited in line. It was busy. A lot of people getting Easter stuff. This building was once a drug store and then a grocery store so it's very large, larger than most Dollar Tree store. It is laid out well, good lighting, easy to maneuver aisles. It is a Dollar Tree so the selection is pretty much on par with other similar stores. I did notice, though, that this store has fewer school supplies but a larger selection of scrapbooking materials. Smaller than usual cold foods section. There is a large parking lot that can be entered from Olive or Fern. read more

This was a nice Dollar Tree. I didn't expect much due to the area of town it was in. I was in the market for some silk flowers....and wow, did they deliver! At $1 per bunch, I only had to spend $6 for two full looking bouquets! There was just one check stand open, so I had to wait in line for a few minutes, but the checker was fast. This is a review for cleanliness and the parking lot only. The employees are very nice so this is for the owner and corporate only. The outside of your store is disgusting. There is garbage overflowing from the cans. Gross sticky stuff and glass in your parking lot regularly and nothing is done. An aquaintence of mine who lives in the tower district went to year place of business and used a broom and cleaned up 3 large piles of glass. He is not employed by your company but was worried about the safety of your customers. You need to hire security and staff to keep the lot clean. Your store floor is filthy because of all the gross parkinglot mess being tracked inside. Please adress this because after dark we dont feel safe. homeless hang out in the parking lot. This location is the closest to me so we come here the most often. Most of the time they are very friendly when they greet when you walk in. we always stop here for our movie candy here cause they have a huge selection. Lately the store hasn't been as neat as usual and the guy who's usually at the door wasn't there. It's felt a little off. The downside to this location is the parking lot. I love this dollar tree! Everything is a dollar! I especially love the strangely large and continuous stock of bizarre chotchkies. .... like busts of giraffe and rhino heads and mini porcelain plates painted with antelope and hippo portraits; mini display stand included!! (they make fun office gifts). Their party favor section is pretty special too. The sheer variety makes you want to plan a party! The dollar tree has inspired me to throw a puppy themed party soon because they have these adorably tacky puppy party hats, noise makers, stickers, table cloths, paper cups and plates, and more! This is definitely the most eclectic of the...Maybe 6 Dollar Tree stores i've been to here in Fresno. It definitely has the best party supply of the bunch. Lots of themes to choose from and its always stocked. Other Dollar Trees, the party supplies go quick! Especially the one on Tulare Ave & 1st! Best craft stuff too in my opinion. That stuff gets sold fastish. Its a pretty good size store...This Dollar Tree also has a fridge section. I like to get a cold ruby kist grapefruit juice everytime I stop in. The worker bees are friendly. Except for on Fridays. Thats the day worker bees get to start restocking all the new merchandise. FYI I've been told many times that all the good stuff (food mostly) is gone by Monday. Put that in your back pocket. Also just like Tower Market next door, no bags allowed. Couldn't believe the amount of disrespect for the "manager" Angela at this location. She first sent me away only to help the people behind me. Then when I placed my items at the next register she began giving me attitude and cursing at me and yelling at me from her register. Her attitude is horrendous and she needs to be fired for treating customers like that when I was waiting in line to pay! I have never been so appalled and disgusted by a place that allows this treatment to its frequent customers. I will contacting their corporate office because this is unbelievable. Im not a huge fan of Dollar Tree stores mainly because they are cluttered and such. However, I can not hate them either because when I am in need of cheap wrapping paper or any other small item I only want to spend a dollar on this is the place i go...It is really close to where I live too so that is always a good thing. It's not the store so much as the area. Well that's not entirely true. It gets annoying to have 10 people in a line with one cashier while three other workers are sitting (literally) . I have had to ask them to bring up a cashier three times. They should have enough sense to look at the line and call for back up. Also, their customer service is just... Odd. They say the right things but it's so lack-luster that it's ridiculous. I'd rather have them say nothing if they aren't going to be genuine. The guy with dreadlocks is always really cool and helpful and sweet. They rest are just... There. The area is frankly dangerous. I never go here with out some sort of protection. Today a man was blocking my car. I asked him politely to move five times and he started yelling at me that he was going to kill me. They allow numbs and such to loiter so when you walk in you are greeted with people asking you for money or wash your windows and when you politely decline you are mother effed and then you get to deal with all the crazies inside from cutting in line to yelling across the store to beating on their kids. I watched a man walk in with an exposed bug ass knife and he was clearly off his nut. When I informed the employees they chuckled and shrugged and walked away. Ummmmm.... Are you kidding me? I'm a big Dollar Tree fan, I love love love dollar tree. But this place, not so much. It's the closest one to me so it's my main Dollar tree that I go to and right away, it's pretty rough on the outside with all the mean homeless people. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against homeless people but the ones who hang around this Dollar Tree are always really aggressive. But I do like walking in and having the guy greet me at the door with a basket. They have some good stuff here. Most of my holiday decorations come from Dollar Tree lol.
