Location: Nordstrom Rack Blackstone Date: April 12, 2026 Service: Clothes Last week I have spent some time and nordstrom Rack looking for clothes for my family especially a pajamas. Nostrom Rack had plenty of men's pajamas to choose from at a discounted price compared to the regular price. And that's a specific day it was raining so most the customers besides shopping was also getting umbrellas this way they could go back to their cars safely. Luckily I was parked in there by and didn't require an umbrella. Once you enter the store everything is marked and placed as it should the women's with the women's shoes the men's with the men's pants the luggage items the perfumes and cosmetics are displayed and marketed in the store. Overall I had an excellent customer service experience at Nordstrom rack. I definitely would be turning in the future. read more

In my previous review, I stated that I mainly shopped on their app but nowadays, I actually prefer to do my shopping in person and get my steps in. Today I stopped by after shopping at Kirkland's next-door. I haven't been in the brick and mortar for a really long time and I was quite impressed during my visit. There wasn't a lot of staff on the floor, checking in or greeting, but there was more than one cashier, which is awesome so it didn't take too long to check out. Currently they are doing "rack "Friday sale. Red tags are an additional 40% off. I found a pair of nice jeans by the brand frame, which is pretty pricey brand and I only paid $38. They have a decent amount of purses, cosmetics, hair care, and plenty of good brands to choose from. I feel like their shoe inventory is massive here. The home section is pretty small and the children's as well. For there being so much in the store, they have everything laid out and organized. There's indicators upon every rack that let you know what brand you're shopping and it's easy to find your size. Kudos to the employees for keeping everything nice and neat! read more

Love this store! I go here every once in a while to see what's newly added and always love the selection of items throughout the store. Prices differ depending on the brands but I've found some of my favorite clothing items from this store that were pretty cheap. The staff are generally nice during checkouts as well. Today I was yelled at by an employee for "blocking" the shoe aisle. I was asked "do you have a cart"...I replied "no"...was then told I'm blocking the aisle. I was confused because I was in a back corner, on a stool designed for trying on shoes with a pair of shoe next to me I was buying and another pair I was trying on. There was 4-6 feet of open aisle space for this exact person to walk by as they yelled at me for blocking the aisle. I then asked what exactly was blocking the aisle??? And what did a cart have to do with anything? Wouldn't a cart block it further? I attempted to engage the employee to clarify what they were even talking about... The response from the employee.... A dismissive two word "thank you"... I've attached a photo of the aisle as it was while I tried on my shoes for proof. I've been here a million times. Never has anything as bizarre as this happened. I honestly felt harassed. I don't know who this employee was but it was an African American person (man or woman hard to tell) with a large Afro working around 6 pm on 10/22/2024. It was completely rude and disrespectful. I hope the manager reads this. I'll be calling tomorrow. read more

The dude and I came to Nordstrom Rack on 11/02/21 as we needed to find clothing of dark attire for two funerals back to back. We arrived after work around 6pm by the time we found our outfits like 7pm the dressing room was closed for the rest of the night -_-. Th dudes dress pants didn't event up fitting but my dress and burgundy sweater fit perfectly. So we will have to go back and return the pants soon. We were gifted a gift card to Nordstrom Rack so it was nice to splurge a little bit. We were greeted upon entering and I loved the set up of this place. They had a lot of items that were unique. They had festive items. I liked the Passport books which I wanted to get 3 as my parents and uncle are finally getting their Passports. But the dude wanted me to hold off in case we found something more meaningful for a Christmas gift (I'm a terrible gift giver so I am blessed to have the dude!!) They have snacks, baby items, clothes, cool gift ideas, candles, perfumes and I didn't get a chance to check out the shoes as I didn't need any at the time. Since it was our first time here we had such a pleasant experience here. I usually don't splurge as I am a Penny pincher so it was nice not to worry about prices for once. The store was very clean and organized. Looking forward to returning soon and the only complaint was that the dressing rooms are not open rough for us 8am to 5pms to get there before they close especially if we are traveling out of town on weekends. We are coming back soon so looking forward to exploring more and shopping! read more

Store is a mess. Difficult to find anything. Mens fitting room service is a disaster. Waited for my husband and watched 3-4 other men standing around waiting for over 10 minutes to get a room. We flagged down 2 employees who couldn't help us. Women's room better but has a rude employee who was grumpy at me for trying on a bunch of clothes. She almost said you again? Sorry for trying to spend money there...will take my business elsewhere. Quality is not good either. I bought a pair of jeans for $90 marked down from $200. Wore it twice and seam by zipper opened up leaving a hole in the front. Never had that happen before. The deals are good but be cautious of the quality. My sister in law said she bought some earrings there that completely fell apart after one use. I guess its marked down for a reason. read more

I have to say that this review is only for this particular nordstrom location. I have never seen a nordstrom rack which is not organized and does not have a good collection except for this location. I do love online shopping with nordstrom thought: Today I wanted to return an item and the sale asian lady on the return window was not nice and she stated I am not ready first and then after waiting she said sorry I have to go to lunch with a tone !! seriously. At least say it nicee:I have to say all the ladies in the line were not happy with the attitude. I rarely write reviews but I had to for this one. This is one of the blessed places to shop late night especially during the holiday season. The cthe cashiers are fast and friendly.

It's a nice place, good deals. Kind of disorganized, though. On good days it's just kinda messy, on bad days it looks like a Walmart on Black Friday at 3pm. Oh, and don't make the mistake of calling it Nordstrom, sans Rack. One time some *nice lady* made a point to make sure everyone heard her correct me when I called it Bordstrom. I have gone here twice in the past 2 weeks when our state is back at the purple tier for Covid. This place is one of the best for handling Covid precautions. They have clear marked 6 feet social distancing spots for the check out line, the staff are all wearing masks and some are wearing gloves. I have been watching the cashiers and they are wiping down the counter and the keypads first payment after every customer. The cash registers have plexi-glass between them and the customer with a small window slot under to pass the merchandise. They have hand sanitizer available for everyone. I even witness a group of women enter that were obviously family members try to play dumb like they "forgot" to put on their masks, a sales clerk went up to them immediately and told them they needed to wear masks while in the store. I was really impressed that the store is really looking out to keep people safe and I wish more stores could be this good. I definitely plan on doing the bulk of my Christmas shopping here. read more

I just discovered after being a customer for over 50 years that Nordstrom's has a policy of charging late fee's based on their due date for all payments of the 2nd day of each month. I call because like thousands of retired people our funds come in around the 1st of each month and my payment is always late. They suggested direct payment but that will not work if our funds are not in the account by the 2nd. I will then be charged for a returned payment. I asked them to extend the due date or grant a grace period for a few day's but they refused. Retired people, their late charge is $40.00 so you better check your bill each month or better yet change to another department store. Kenneth Taylor read more

Not my usual type of place I review, but I wanted to let the good people of Fresno know that this Nordstrom Rack keeps getting better and better! When I first moved here, this Rack was kind of a hot mess in my humble opinion. Not too many stylish options, very few, if any, designer pieces; lots of things not my style/taste. Over the past couple of months, the merchandising at this Rack has dramatically improved, so much so to the point I wanted to write a review! They have been getting an increasing number of designer goods in at incredible prices. Lots of really cute designer sunglasses and purses have come in lately. Their jeans selection is really big too, so you can really find something good if you look. Their workwear section has expanded as well if you need a cute top for the office. Also, they've been bringing in more of the Nordstrom house brand, Abound, which is very affordable. Another bonus is that they are open on the later side for emergency fashion needs. However, because everyone is experiencing staffing issues, their dressing rooms close for the night around 5-6pm. They have a really generous return policy if you end up with something that doesn't meet your needs. This particular shopping center tends to get really busy on weekend mornings/afternoons so I try to go off hours. Overall, super happy we have a Rack in Fresno, and I will be dreaming of the day when a full on Nordstrom opens here. read more

I love shipping at Nordstrom rack, a big reason is because of the consistent good customer service, but maybe expect for one lady who was pretty rude. Firstly, she looked very annoyed and inattentive, secondly, no greeting or anything politely feedback to me even I said twice thank you to her, thirdly, I was deciding a couple purses from the show window she took out, that lady was in a rush to put everything back without me saying anything. I used to love Nordstrom rack, but the other discount stores, Ross and DD's discounts has really stepped it up in the dress and intimates department. I spent 20 minutes on a clearance rack at Nordstrom rack and found nothing, but frumpy, ugly and expensive dresses just because they are brand name. Whenever I am in a Ross or DD's, I always find something adorable in their regular dress rack priced from only $6-$30. They have some urban decay, mac, smashbox and Laura Mercier makeup for good prices though. Their purse section used to be filled with things other than Michael Kors, Betsey Johnson and Calvin Klein. Sorry, but Ross also sells those designers for a fraction of the cost. I'm glad I found my dog mother, wine lover shirt though. Nordstrom Rack, you need to step up your game girl! read more

I love this store but the music is always so loud. I understand 20-year-olds are running the store but there are those of us who are older who are shopping in the store. It would be nice to have quiet elevator type music to shop to instead of loud modern young people's music. Sometimes I either leave without buying anything or I resort to earplugs. There is one really nice cashier here, that is where the positive things about this store ends! First, most of the people that work here are grumpy, unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. My husband and I shop at Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com a lot. And quite honestly, we come to this location mostly to return items we purchased online, since there is no Nordstrom anywhere close to shop or try items on. The selection of items here is mediocre at best. I really wish Nordstrom Rack had any customer service like Nordstrom. A few weeks ago I had to return 2 items I purchased online. The man at the register asked me where I purchased them- I said they were on the Hautelook website I believe. Well, it turns out one was and the other was Nordstrom Rack. He yelled at me saying, that isn't from Hautelook. Seriously? Have you ever heard of being a polite human being?? Today was a huge frustration for me, as I headed to the fitting room with a bunch of dresses to try on. The woman in the fitting room told me I needed to wait for the handicap dressing room since I had my sons stroller with me. There was apparently a woman in there because she wanted a larger room (every other room was empty) Ok....well literally 20 minutes later I was still waiting. It's not Nordstrom's department store, and the service is no where as good as you get at a Nordstrom's, but it's the closest thing we have in Fresno to the great department store. I shop at Nordstrom in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and San Mateo on a fairly regular basis, so I rarely go into this store, but every so often I check to see what they have. I almost always find something at a fairly good price. Just keep in mind, this is an outlet store for Nordstrom. read more

I love this Rack and put off doing a review for so long because I didn't want the secret to be out and all the good stuff to be gone. Now that I live near 5 Nordstrom Racks I feel like it's okay to share this not so well-kept secret that is the NR. Parking here is easy as they share the lot with tons of other businesses and it's not far to walk from any of them. The selection at this store is really good, since usually NR's get their items from a specific Nordstrom store nearby and there are none nearby! This means they must receive a little bit from several stores in Sacramento, San Jose, and maybe even SF. Wherever they are getting their supply, I'm glad to see year after year that they are consistent. This means lines here are also always consistent! This place is pretty spacious when you walk in and also inviting. The weekends have a lot of people and you will be in line for awhile. The service is great though. Today a worker asked if i needed help finding something which sparked a great conversation of a upcoming sale. I love deals and i found some great stuff today. Why is it that there's a Nordstrom in Fresno, but the closest one to my house (Antioch) is like 40 miles away? There's definitely something wrong with this picture. Saturday night. I dragged my cousin Marc into this store 30 minutes before closing. Harmless, right? That is until I showered him with questions like, "Does this tank top look like a rag?" or "What do you think of this dress?" or my favorite, "Which one do you like better, this one or this one?" He looked at me blankly with each question. Cousin, I must train you because one of these days when you're out with a lady friend, she too will interrogate you with nonsense questions about clothes. Believe it or not, your opinion counts! I found this cute black thigh length cardigan for...get this: 6 bucks. And I wanted to find an oversized top to match with the sweater and some leggings. I gave my cousin one last shot: "This one or this one?" And he pointed to the one in my right hand. HE MADE A FASHION DECISION FOR ME! YESSS! I'm so proud of my cousin. As for the store, it was a decent, middle of the road Rack. I was unimpressed by their selection of designer jeans. I was hoping to find some nice Sevens or True Religions to wear day-to-night, but came up short. You really have to keep your eyes peeled for the good sales. This place has a lot of the same stuff as Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshall's. I was just at TJ Maxx yesterday before coming to Nordstrom's today and saw many of the same shirts. (T.J. Maxx was priced cheaper, incidentally.) However, there's also a lot of stuff here that isn't found at those stores, so generally Nordstrom rack DOES have a better selection of "good" clothes. I would call Nordstrom Rack a high end T.J. Maxx, honestly. It's better lit, more organized (mainly because there's a greater number of employees) and higher-priced, even though they do have much of the same merchandise. However, the snooty people who wouldn't be caught dead in somewhere as "pedestrian" as T.J. Maxx feel secure here because "it's Nordstrom." Anyway, this place isn't so bad. I'll come here every once in a while because there's almost always SOMETHING worth buying here. However, what I hate, is that there's ALWAYS a 10 minute minimum wait in line, because of incompetent cashiers and lack of foresight. Seriously, if there's 15 people in line, OPEN UP MORE THAN 2 REGISTERS, they're not there just for show! I swear to God, they must only use the rest on Black Friday or in the event of an apocalypse or something. The other thing is, when you do finally get to the register, there's a 50/50 chance that your cashier will decide to be a dick today. Today, I got the dick. The guy just looked at me to signal to come over there, no "next in line, please," and when I said "hi" he mumbled something incoherently. Alright asshole, you wasted enough of my time in that line, at least YOU were getting paid during that time. The least you could do is act like a human fucking being. But no, this dude just goes about sleepwalking through his job. That's not to say all the employees are bad. People at the dressing rooms are consistently friendly and helpful, and I have had unusually friendly cashiers here before. One time, I was buying some dress shoes, pants, and a belt and the cashier asked if I was going to a wedding. I said no, just going out tonight. She complimented my taste and had a genuine conversation with me. I don't expect everybody to be that friendly, but seriously, when someone gives you about as much customer service as a toilet paper roll dispenser, you have a right to bitch. So bottom line- if you're in a hurry and need to find something good quick, it's probably best to take a hit and come here. Otherwise, take your chances and rummage through Ross, Marshall's, and/or T.J. Maxx first. read more

When we first learned that a store called Nordstrom Rack was coming to Fresno, we were very excited. Imagine our surprise when we learned that they sell clothes. We come here from time to time, mostly for the shoes. We don't like searching through racks...wait...now we get it.... Anyhow, searching through the racks isn't fun and does take time, but we find good deals on good quality shoes. Also, if we wanted to fit in with our new neighborhood, The Douche, this is where we'd go to find the expensive jeans with the fancy stitching on the pockets. Rows upon rows, piles upon piles of fancy pocket jeans. Some of the fancy pockets are so huge and extend all the way down almost to the knee, we could hold a good bottle of whiskey in it. When we see "men" wear those, we chuckle to ourselves. Unless, of course, those "men" are actually holding a bottle of whiskey in those goofy pockets...then they'd be men. We like the shirts. We like the shoes. We like the ties. We like the slacks. We'll pass on the fancy, douchy jeans. One last thing, the checkout system isn't clearly defined. If all the registers have customers, but there's no line, we always get confused where we're supposed to wait. It would be nice for those of us who are simple if there were a sign or a line or something to help us out. read more

I can only come here so often. It's nothing like SF but occasionally I'll find some cool shoes, not so much for guys shirts, pants, or jackets. It's only for guys shoes and maybe if you're lucky, you'll buy three. I'm not so sure about women's selection, but they do own more than 90% of the entire store. read more
