Dollar Tree is a life saver. I love coming here over Family Dollar because everything is actually $1!!! I've been visiting family in Texas for about a week already and I pretty much been to Dollar Tree every single day. I've bought all my wrapping paper, snacks, necessities here. The workers are also very nice and friendly. They have a wide selection of things from food, kitchen utensils, party favors and more. I've never bought food from here, only snacks. Checked this store yesterday and I was overwhelmed with a lot of clutter. This place needs organization and needs to be clean. There are just so much merchandise not put in place. It literally gave me anxiety. I think they only have one person working inside the store, plus the manager in the office, lol.... I was looking for some arts and crafts stuff, just inexpensive items I can use, but they didn't have the things I needed. I'll probably check the other new Dollar Tree or go to Dollar General. I don't think I'll be coming back to this store. Also, it needs more lighting inside too. Please give this place a make over and keep it tidy. Maybe you will have more happy customers. read more

Do not patron this $Tree on Knights Way. The Horrible manager Latoya is very unprofessional and has the Devil's tongue. She cussed like a loose woman without any self respect. I paid for my purchase and the girl at the register told me to insert my card again because it didn't go through (please watch that kind of trickery-thats how they get you) she charged me twice.(but I don't keep cash on that account during the holidays so all the got was about $3.00) they tried to make me pay the difference... Even after I showed them my USAA ACCOUNT where the first transaction went through. Noooo, Ms Latoya wasn't satisfied, she refused to give me my purchase, started spitting profanity at me, yelling, proving to the world that all black women are "angry" ( I don't know why she was so upset, it wasn't her card that was charged twice.) People started leaving.. she called bitches, whores, muthafuckas, and all other words. This is a manager of a Dollar Tree. A manager! Smh. This world is crazier crazier every day. People have lost their minds. I will never go back in that store. And I told her, if I was a white woman, she would have reversed that charge with a smile and told me Merry Christmas and did the dance. And she knows she would have. Just a pur mess.... Well this is my go too store when my cash is low or I don't want pay a lot for something I need. They have some good stuff at $1.25 for your kitchen, party decor, gift bags and food! I was hurt when their prices increased from $1.00 for all items to $1.25. I still shop here but not as often! read more

Went here during the week and was pleasantly surprised to find it well organized, pretty clean and not that many people inside. The other shoppers were polite, too. I didn't find what I was looking for here but did fine a few other items. I always go by the rules that buying food from a dollar store is a no-go, so I completely avoided that aisle. Small but quick and easy to get in and out of. For more selection visit the Killeen location. This one is pretty clean and quiet though. Love that we can use coupons here now. Look for freebie deals with $1 off coupons! Also, they occasionally have in store .50 off coupons in the food section making some items cheaper than the grocery store. The staff are for the most part friendly but not always very knowledgable. Mylar balloons and party needs are always a great deal here. read more

I bank near this location and I only shop here maybe a couple times a month.. I usually find the clerks here to be very friendly and nice, but yesterday I went in to grab a few things around 6:15pm. The manager on duty was ranting very loudly for anyone in the store to hear. Apparently a customer had taken a cart she had set aside that contained items that needed to be put back on the shelf and emptied out all the items to use the cart. She just went on and on and the cashier chimed in even though she was checking out customers. I went through the line, greeted the cashier, she proceeded to say how she's not having a good day and she's only been there for 45min. I offered to put my hand basket away and she said give it to the manager since she was standing near by. So I went to give it to her and she said in a rude tone, "just put it down". I really wanted to tell her a thing or two, but instead I thanked the cashier and wished her a better day. I work in customer service and have for many years. We all have bad days and rude customers, but when someone is trying to be kind, the normal response is to be appreciative. One pleasant customer can make up for several rude ones. read more

We weren't greeted when entering store as the customers entering behind us 3 minutes later we greeted with a smile and hello.
